im kinda surprised that you've never been to Korea before. i think connecting to your roots is so important, plus you can make really fun content out of it lol. try getting a personal color consultation there, or booking an idol's makeup artist to give you a makeover

Omg I relate so much!!! As an Asian, I have double eyelids but I sometimes used to wake up to triple eyelids on one side or sometimes both sides and it just goes back to normal after a while. And I used to be so jealous of foreigners' beautiful eyessss

it's so interesting to hear about other people's insecurities growing up. I am very pale with dark brown curly hair, which always made me stand out amongst my predominantly asian & african peers. I used to want to have darker skin, and it's interesting that the korean beauty standard favours being more pale haha. always wanting what we don't have! love you for speaking about these things. i like the saying 'my face is a combination of many lovers' 💘

Andrew’s eyes and mine are (kind of) the same!! As an Asian and with that type of eye/eyelids, I do find it hard doing my eye makeup and keeping things even, like eyeliner and stuff. But I’ve grown to love it and I now consider it as a distinctive feature of mine! ❤️

long time fan from korea!!!! i always love it when you do korean related videos :)))) just commenting on the cheekbone part - our common beauty standards are more like "round" "oval-like" kinda looks so we don't tend to emphasize the cheekbones !!! we generally don't have high cheekbones hahahaha u nailed the look and lots of loveeeee love the new hair
