Hwasa, sassy youngest who has a husky voice, loves Rihanna more than herself and is famous these days for eating in TV shows. The one in the bodysuit with the cat. My favourite is Wheein because one you whee-in you can't whee-out. She is also the funniest member who is really gold in variety shows. You should really react to ALL their songs, because their recent songs are very boppy and sexy like this but old songs are VERY retro, plus there's a good amount of weird/funny songs too. My favourite retro song is Piano man, their 2nd single and my favourite weird/funny song is 1cm(Taller Than You). They also had several songs they released before their official debut. They got a lot of help from other people in the industry and the pre-debut songs and the debut all feature a lot of famous people. Mamamoo were the fastest girlgroup to get their own solo concert at the time. They are known for their vocals, harmonies and always having fun performing. They often change ad-libs when promoting to shout out the venue/programme or congratulate each others' birthdays or just greet their fans. Lots of folks have given you recommendations and a few people have provided more info about the group and mentioned the 4 Seasons project without explaining it so I'll try to catch you up since 4 Season 4 Color is the pinnacle of their career and btw the most epic, unprecedented, ambitious project by a girl group in kpop history. In Jan 2018 Mamamoo dropped a pre-release single called Paint Me as the theme song for a four mini-album project called 4 Season 4 Color. They released one album per season from late March '18 to early March '19. Each album had a theme color and season and included a solo song by one of the members, who was also referred to in the album title. The season and color were reflected in the title tracks and what you'll find is that in each title track each member expresses her own take on that season's color, mood and the emotions of the song. MAMAMOO has been around for ages, on of the most popular song from them is called Starry Night, then there's Egotistic, Wind Flower, and the most recent 'gogobebe'. As for the members, Moonbyul is the rapper (the one you loved the voice of) Solar you probably know, the pole girl, Hwa-Sa the black haired girl with the tiger, and Wheein the girl with the tattoo. They have various songs as solo artists you should definitely check out. I'll name a few: Whee-In feat. Sik-K - Easy, Hwa-Sa - TWIT, Solar, Luna & Hani - Honey Bee, and Moonbyul made a song with Seulgi from RV called 'SELFISH'. They also have a bunch of veeeeeeeery old songs, we're talking 2015-16, like Decalcomanie, Um Oh Ah Yeh, 1cm, Mr. Ambiguous... etc. They're basically another OG group of kpop, you can never go wrong with them.

Mamamoo is one of my favorite girl groups. Their vocals and stage presence are absolutely amazing. Moonbyul is my bias and Hwasa is my bias wrecker. Mamamoo is known for their powerful vocals basically the queen of vocals and performance in kpop 3rd generation😍 they gained respect because of that and they are known for being so different from any other kpop girlgroup. i see someone already suggested the introduction guide by sondery. that is a great, great place to start, as it covers everything from personal skills to group dynamics and general goofballness to perfect harmonies to amazing live performances (seriously, their lives are always better than the studio versions. witchcraft, i swear) to... well, the bit at the end as for the group itself, plenty of people have told you a lot about them but there are two main sides to the group as a whole. one is the ultracharismatic stage performers that do everything live and will constantly surprise you (both individually and as a group). the other is them being chaos incarnate that had their ceo coin the term 'beagle-dols' for how rambunctious and out of control they get while seemingly never running out of energy. the latter is typically seen offstage, though it's not uncommon to see it in their live performances, too. especially at festivals and basically anything that's not a music or award show (though you can catch aspects of it at those, too) they're constantly challenging themselves and like to try new musical genres...often blending several together into their songs. also known for doing amazing medleys or remixes

Egotistic was my first Mamamoo song and I really didn't like it the first time I heard it. A few weeks later I gave it a few more chances and after those times hearing it again I was obsessed with it for quite some time. GREAT

I'm gay, but if any group as a whole could tempt me, it is Mamamoo. Hwasa is my bias; although you can't go wrong with picking any of them. I haven't read the comments, but I'm guessing Starry Night is among them. Beautiful song with a totally different vibe, and the locations in the mv are gorgeous. You also want to check out Hwasa's solo, "Twit". She took part in all the aspects, from writing to choreo to mv production. It's great.

Yes all the MVs on the Mamamoo YT channel get subs within an hour of release usually AND DON’T HAVE THOSE ANNOYING CARDS AT THE END. Their Blue;S album from last year is an R&B masterpiece (title track: Wind Flower). Would 100% recommend. First song they appeared in: Don’t be Happy ft. Bumkey. Debut: Mr. Ambiguous (2014). A lot of their songs, esp. the older ones are very jazz/funk inspired a la Piano Man, You’re the Best, and Ah Oop. If you’re looking for a power ballad: Paint Me. All four of them are insanely amazing singers (Moonbyul included).

This was also my introduction to Mamamoo. I think it came out last summer, but I've only been into kpop for about 6 months. Solar is the one on the with the guitarist at the beginning. Moonbyul is the rapper. Wherein is the one one the car. And Hwasa is the one with the cat. These ladies are just amazing vocalists and fun personalities (watch the live stuff) and super gorgeous. I'm not going to recommend anything because almost all the stuff is great.
