He'll just have to pick it out back at the dumpsite. No big deal. I suspect the sensor detected it as a garbage can.

@@mrfrenzy.There is no sensor. The drive controls the arm with a joystick and i believe he could pick that dishwasher up without being in trouble

That dishwasher has more plastic in it than the garbage can. It'll be good for landfills just like your pop bottles that don't get recycled

Appliance pickup would be a special trip here, and would be done only a couple times a year. Appliances and regular garbage would NEVER be picked up in the same trip, much less be bumped into the same hopper.

I live in Australia and we have 3 different kinds of bins one for general rubbish a recycling bin and a green waste bin and you can’t mix stuff together or they don’t take it

Had a friend that made a very successful business. Taking old or new appliances an stripping them to fix others . Made a great living . Before the trash was removed. Just knock an ask to take an the world could be yours . The old saying your trash is my cash

@@grover2727 No need for spin , there's jobs galore at the moment and just because someone loses a back breaking job doesn't mean that they become homeless. I mean did we need to go back to the horse and buggy because a bunch of Farriers lost their job.. Trust me automation can only go so far and it takes a lot of skilled workers to keep that stuff working.

Here in Finland we have different containers for: mixed waste, plastic, biodegradable waste, glass, metal, papers and cardboard.
