For years I’ve used hemorrhoid cream when I have puffiness under my eyes. As a nurse I learned this from a physician friend. I label them tube with large letters “FOR FACE ONLY “. Lol.

I’ve heard about using hemorrhoid cream for under eye puffiness for many years. I tried it a few times and it didn’t work for me. It would be great to have a low cost solution for this issue but it’s a no for me unfortunately.

My mother never used makeup because she didn't need it. Her skin was always flawless and total strangers would often say how beautiful she was. Even as an older woman at age 79, her doctor commented that our mother was not very wrinkled and she didn't have age spots either. In later years, the most she ever used was a tinted lip gloss and that was it. My mom used Dove soap and Ponds cream. She had what is known as Peaches & Cream skin. Genetics has a lot to do with skin quality.

My Grandma looked 60 at 86 and she was a ponds lady also dove soap she kept the cold cream in the fridge! Adorable ... I will try the revitalift thanks for the recommendations

I am a 66 year old man, and I swear by Ordinary Matrixyl, The Buffet, Nivea Crem for the face. Cera Ve Green Cleanser, and their Cream for face and body! I love the Dr. Dray Videos, she is a dermatologist that uses regular products!

I loved this mask! Left my skin so soft and smooth! So sorry they discontinued it! The Boomsilk is the best moisturizer I have ever used! I have loved Boom ever since Cindy started her business! The boom sticks are wonderful!

I still use the Boomsilk and the Boom Sticks. Cindy Joseph was a forerunner in the pro aging attitude. I currently am a Boom Ambassador and stand behind all of their wonderful natural products.

Oh, great. I love the Boomsticks as well. Just placed another order. The lotions smell fresh and good, but I used on my body in the end . Just not needing all the moisturizer (live in humid tropical climate).

Yes. I was totally excited about Boom, but the Silk was just way too heavy for facial use. I used it up on my arms and legs. I love the Boomsticks, but if it’s hot out at all, they get way too soft in the stick and melt off my face. That Nivea has a revolting perfume that made me sneeze. I was so excited after the many fantastic KZfaq reviews. Now I use coconut oil for lashes, brows, cuticles and hair ends. Love your videos.

Love your honest review! At age 64 I have trouble staying motivated to maintain a skincare routine. You have said EVERYTHING that I have also realized about skincare over time. I have been considering the BOOM sticks, and your review will help a lot! If they will improve my everyday-appearance, it will be worth trying. People have said I look good for my age, but if I don’t step things up, that will not last. Some products I tried were Cetaphil and LoReal. The Cetaphil 30 sunscreen moisturizer gives my skin a nice glow and evens out the tone. Also when I buy a product that WORKS, it eventually gets discontinued! Love your advice!

Murad multi-vitamin infusion oil - One bottle goes a long way, especially if you apply it after toner. I love this oil and put it on my face when getting ready for bed. I use it during the day in the winter as well.

I know you mentioned a l’occitane lipstick that you use, but I wondered if I might use their products for skin care as I believe their ingredients are natural. Loved listening to you today. I do that too, Sandra - rely on my skin care more than piling on foundation. Boom products weren't in my budget, anyway, but castor oil is! The promises these companies make are not realistic. Less is more, so I,too,will be using up what I have, exceot for mascara. I don't wear it daily, in any case. Take care and God bless! ♡

I always feel a bit more glamorous about life when I listen to the music you play before and after your videos Sandra. I’m not sure what era it’s from but I feel I most have had a past life then! I think it would be great no matter what your topic is if you are using a product that actually WORKS... or one where you were FOOLED again you could mention it. As a new member to the over 60 alumni (I'll be 61 this fall) I really appreciate your video. You look so beautiful and your skin just glows!! Share that secret someday. Thank you for stating your opinion on products; especially Boom. I have been drawn to the Boomstick for some time now so glad you had such a great review of it. Also, thanks for the tip about castor oil. That just goes to show that women really don't need to fall into the ad trap. Just like our mothers tried to tell us when we were young; sometimes the simplest of things works the best!! Your lashes look amazing by the way! What eyeshadow are you using?

Agree about the Nivea skin firming notion. It was very recommended by someone on youtube, who is praised and has a big following. But why? For a face tightener, save your money and just whip up an egg and apply. Leave on till it’s really dry and rinse off with warm water. For a moisturizer consider making your own body butter. Store bought creams and deodorants all have unhealthy ingredients. Beauty comes from within in!

Loved the reviews, was considering the boom products but will take your advice! Will also continue to “use up” what I have...enjoy your site. Am 72, never been into heavy makeup and find less is more as time goes by... blessed with good skin, mostly use water and moisturizer, little blush. Like L’Oreal products, will try the eye cream you like. 😊

I LOVE the BOOMSTICKS, too! I haven’t bought any other products for the very same reason: I have better products. I love her, too! Castor oil has been used as a cosmetic for hair since the days of the Egyptian dynasties. It makes the hair shiny and look fuller. I haven’t been able to find a reference as to when it was first used on lashes. It is CAUTIONED in that use in that: some folks might have a sensitivity; the oil must be a pure grade; care must be taken to not get it into the eyes. I, for one, cannot use it. I have sensitive eyes and it burns me like crazy! But I can’t line the water line either, so consider that. 🌹

I know I'm a little late showing up to the party, but I just noticed your video. I have written down the products that you recommend. I have been watching reviews and infomercials on the boom sticks and I just couldn't bring myself to spend the almost $80 Plus on 3 little sticks. You have inspired me. I think I might just break down and get them. The revitalift, the same thing. I had always checked out the jars and they were also a little bit pricey for me. I have wasted so much money on products that claim to do this and that and do not do this, or that. I will try these products, especially the castor oil which I would have never even thought of. If you are reading this post thank you so much for all your information and your Beauty.

I love the Boomsticks, too. But I use them in conjunction with a BB cream if I’m going out. If i’m staying home they’re fine by themselves. Really nice products!

Susan, I really love thrifting almost better than any kind of shopping. I like finding great vintage clothes, even if it is a crisp white cotton blouse. I have found everything from Prada to Fendi thrifting. All just for a few dollars and I wear it all! ❤️. Sandra

Maybe, Sandra, you're better suited to the BOOM Cotton! It's not as shiny for one thing so perhaps it's the one for your skin. Cindy does say you can use them for your body too, not just your face, and I think we neglect the skin on our bodies far too much - I'm speaking from experience here - oh my thighs --- ugh! And yes I'd been using Nivea too :D The unbeautiful truth is, we're aging and nothing will stop it - only death... So live in your gorgeous skin - nurture it with expensive (or cheap) creams if that's what makes you happy! Inner happiness is the best beauty treatment, and a smile is priceless :)xx

We had quite a bit of wind early last month that took away most of the blossoms and left a few leaves. It has recovered nicely. Yours should too. I feed my With Bougainvillea Bloom food. That helps. ❤️. Sandra

Yeah, that’s what I love about you you’re natural I never wore make up except for lipstick maybe Debbie a little bit on the cheeks and chin and maybe some mascara but that’s it but I do need a moisturizer and castor oriole is natural. I think it would be good, but I really got to thinking maybe I will try the moisturizer stick from boom next time.

I love this honest review. Something that, unfortunately, is not always easy to find on KZfaq. When you look at ingredients, there is nothing is the Nivea Lotion or Serum other than a lot of alcohol that can shrink bags around the eyes but the L'Oreal Revitalist Eye has smoothing hyaluronic acid and caffeine that can actually minimize puffiness. I love the idea of multiple function makeup sticks but have never tried the Boom line. Do you find these sticks are superior to other stick products? Thanks so much!!!

For what it’s worth, I love Boom products, especially the stick trio ... Glo, Glimmer, and Color. I started using Boom in 2010 when I was 40, These products are amazing and I’ve been able to streamline my makeup routine, and simplify/reduce the amount of cosmetics/skincare that I own, all while nurturing my skin with organic ingredients. The boom sticks are phenomenal, they work as blush, bronzer, highlighter, moisturizer, lip stain, lip/face moisturizer, and spot treatment for dry/chapped areas. They are super versatile, long lasting, simple to use, nourishing, pure and natural. I’ve also tried BoomTouch, BoomSilk, and Boom Nectar .... are all excellent as well. Sounds like I should be a sponsor of their products but I’m not, I am just a believer in their products and appreciate that they are all natural/organic, preform well and my skin has never looked better!

Totally agree about the Castor oil. Have used it for years for eyelash and eyebrow growth. perfect! Once a week baking soda scrub works wonders for exfoliating one's skin. We do not need to spend a fortune on skin care. Have used witch hazel as a toner. Most important for our skin is plenty of water, plenty of rest and avoid sugar, alcohol and a poor diet.

Very good information. Sandra's skin looks fantastic ! I'm going to try the Revtalift product. I've tried caster oil before and it was only about $4. I was using it on eczema. I'll try it again for eyelashes and eyebrows. I use witch Hazel for a toner and it has been helping a lot and it helps calm down my eczema. I also started to use a peel of facial mask by Freemans ( I've used them all) and they really help make my skin feel clear and smooth.

Hi Sandra, First.. could u please mention the song and singer in your notes? I love your wonderful classic taste. I was smiling when you mentioned the L’Oréal eye cream . I also use it and love it ! I take a Vitamen E capsule and puncture it with a safety pin. I put this wonder oil on my eyelids and eyelashes. The next morning my eyes look amazing! Have u tried an egg white with a splash of lemon as a skin tighter? U can even use it on your eyelids for an instant lift to hooded eyes The great thing about being a Capricorn woman is that we get younger as we get older...
