I ended up giving almost everyone weird science near level 18 or so. Seemed like the bonuses bumped up damage on energy weapons so much and I kept finding powerful energy weapons that were so much stronger than standard weapons that the penalty against humans was more than offset, especially with that second wierd science perk.

Hey man, I like sniper/ explosive combo! Pretty smart! But I would use sneeky shit on that character...that way you can always opet na fight with huge AEO damage...

I don't think this is right mate. I literally only started playing this yesterday and watched a lot of vids first to get my bearings with the title. For once I wanted to avoid playing a few hours and restarting again since inevitably messing up CC. Your vids were part of what I watched. The advice here is not really helpful, especially to new players. The way levelling works in this game you really only need/want one character made for levelling. The rest can just be levelled up to their level whenever you're in HQ. This way allows for more min/max with 5 of your characters without losing the faster levelling. You could still gain the benefits of poindexter this way without requiring everyone to have 10 Cha. Please let me know if this doesn't ring true but I have tested it with my first chars. Thankfully the concept works, just not useful for every character.

I stopped playing once I was done in Colorado springs. Which is weird. Because finally the world map was mine to explore. But I just lost interest.
