Ferry Fare:
5Baht from 5:00 am - 6:00 am
3Baht from 6:01am - 5:59 pm
5Baht from 6:00 pm - 9:30 pm
Find your queue and hop on ferry. Pay your fare at the counter upon arrival on the island.
By the way, if you're bringing with you your vehicle, you can park it at the temple (Wat Sanam Nuea) grounds for free up until 8:00am to 8:30pm.
Visit Koh Kred (Koh Kret). The island is famous for Mon-style pottery and other arts and crafts that you could imagine. There are varieties of shops from souvenirs, tea, and local products that you can drop by. You may also consider the DIY processing yourself in pottery and beer making. Beautiful temples and parks add the sceneries on the island.
I suggest you should walk around the island in a clockwise direction. Imagine a good exercise for a 6-kilometer long path. If you are tired, you can stop by the cafe, food shops and stores. Public toilets are also available at any point.
The villagers are very hospitable and friendly, too.
Note:
- Cars are not allowed on the island.
- Pathway signs are in Thai.
- Narrow isles and pathways.
- Crowded on weekends.
- Always bring with you a bottle of water.
- Bring any umbrella/cap/hat.
- Wear comfortable clothing.
- Observe protocols.
