What ? No standing ovation from their schoolmates? Those are some talented AF high school kids. Can you imagine how many hours of rehearsal and practice those young people spent working during their free time order to perform that?! That was really so great. Kudos to all the students and school staff and parents and other adults who helped make this happen. Bravo😊❤👍

It’s probably pressure to look cool in front of other classmates. Oh I can’t clap and cheer for this, what will my classmates think of me? Students are too worried of not looking cool, enjoying something Harry Potter related might make them look otherwise. It’s pretty sad.

Try community theater, city band, writers' clubs, and other organizations may have a creative outlet within their organization. Or get some people together and start your own. If you build it they really might come.

Damn, people. THAT was worthy of Broadway or Vegas! Production, music selection, THE KIDS! Kudos to everyone involved. I was in tears when Harry 'died,' the power of the choreography.

This is an amazing performance and you both are critiquing it as if it doesn’t meet your criteria. Millions of dollars weren’t available for the production, but we still get it! Please just try to enjoy it for what it is ... tens of thousands of other people have, can’t you? I’m 61 and a huge fan of HP ... they get my vote🙃😘Smile⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Damn, that was one hell of a performance. Sad to see a lot of the students just sitting there politely clapping, if at all. Everyone should be up on their feet cheering.

I came on this way after 2018 but that was fresh. Whoever had that idea and put it into motion deserves a big round of applause. The young adults were wonderful in how they played it out and how well you can tell the hours of practice it took. Well done ya'll.

Looks like the crowd does not watch “HARRY POTTER”. They better do now and will realize that these kdis are so good!! (Which i mean they are rlly good, to ensure everyone will understand this Opinion; I’m gladly sure the crowds clapped for them at the end & some of the crowds do watch the movie Harry Potter) maybe the crowds are just more onto creativity or modern dances or they are probably just speechless that’s why the SCHOOLMATES were also unable to clap right away. -i love THE MOVIE harry potter (obsessed with it)

Look carefully....the crowd are all holding their cameras/video..they're taping the performance. They appreciate the creativity and outstanding performances before them....

@@bibleverses6483 We only saw a small bit of the evenings performance. I think people were too busy with their cameras, and were unable to clap throughout the performance. Maybe in other countries people do applaud throughout the performance, but even that may have now changed with the fact everyone now has a camera.

I would have been yelling approval. The crowd seemed to be a golf tournament. Great job by this group.

I noticed same thing. Made me wonder if the dancers were a visiting group to the school, opposed to them being students at the school. Might explain the lack of enthusiasm.

They are probably absorbed in the show. I for one do not clap until the very end, because I'm concentrating on the performance. I'm not a whoo hoo type either. I just sit back in awe at the end of a show.

@@kerrbear1980 the dancers are part of the school's dance team. the kids are cheering but the sound is filtered in a way through the mic and a program to lower the crowd noise from the foreground. if you pay attention you can hear cheers during a lot of the performance, but they definitely have some of the music overlaying it. if they hadn't edited it, people would be whining that the kids are too loud and they can't hear the performance audio, so keep that in mind.
