Inshore fishing for redfish, trout, and largemouth bass with the new Zman Kicker Crabs lure. The goal of this video was to catch some nice fish using this new lure and give you guys my honest opinion. This is my honest and unsponsored review of the Z-man Kicker CrabZ along with some tips & tricks for catching more redfish, trout, and snook while using it. Very good video. I bought a pack of these kicker crabz last October along with some other crustacean patterns when I went down to Islamorada. I had planned to pretty much use only shrimp and crustacean patterns for the whole trip. We got blown out with weather there so I didn't get to fish nearly as much as I wanted to so I never got around to using the crabs but hope to use them this spring here in Tampa Bay and the Nature Coast.

Thanks Man! Sorry to hear you guys got your plans ruined by the weather. At least the lures seem to be pretty solid and I’m sure you’ll be able to get some fish on them if you cover enough water this spring. They are essentially a weedless paddle tail so I don’t see why they wouldn’t work

Caught a 21 inch flounder last week on that. Also big trout. Love it so far

What size reel, line rating, and rod are you using?

I used a couple different rods in the video and don’t wanna give you the wrong info. Which color rod are you asking about? You can even tell me at what time your talking about in the video

@@stephend3494 oh gotcha! The rod is a St. Croix avid inshore 7 foot medium light power fast action. The reel is a 2500 shimano Sedona with 10 or 15lb power pro super slick v2

@@stephend3494 thanks bro. Yea I love fighting fish on that setup. I actually almost always use 30lb mono for my leader cause of the chance that we hook a bigger snook. The only time I use 15-20 is when I’m sight fishing for spooky redfish and trout or fly fishing

The Zman Kicker Crabz It’s not a universal bait. Mostly when reds are in the grass. Also skipping it into mangroves.

I’m not sure about that because zman claims it is very versatile hinting at it being a universal bait but thanks for letting me know. I feel like it was a cool design
