It has been years since I’ve driven and reviewed an Equinox and I genuinely thought they had stopped making them when they brought out the Blazer and Trailblazer but to my surprise, here is the 2022 Equinox. So before we dive into this vehicle I’ll tell you we’re doing it a little different in this review. There are some good points to make but a lot of bad ones as well so we’re going to jump into the good and bad of this Equinox starting off with the good… (which should be a short list).

For me coming from a 2019 Traxx, I really like my black RS trim level. I am a practical person and this is a practical vehicle.

If I owned the local Chevy dealership and I explained that due to the semi conductor shortage, some features could be retrofit at a later date and you got mad....I would point you to the Ford dealer down the street and bid you good day.

The RS model comes with the 19" wheels and tires. That is part of the problem with the harsh ride. The premier model uses 18" and the tires are 225/60/18. That extra sidewall helps to improve the ride.

Bring back the 2.0T motor dual exhaust, upgrade the suspension, put a light in the glove compartment, also better tires. Then you might have a better vehicle.

In Kazakhstan we are have 2.0 l turbo engine and 9 auto gear.

Great review I like the details you gave,while I like the design I could not tolerate the bumpy ride,I’m now wondering what the Malibu ride is like I was looking at one as a possibility over the Camry .
