Not saying that’s the case here but when a shoe sucks in resell, nobody seems to want them. But if they go for a lot of money, everybody wants it. Seems like a repetitive theme. If these was $500+ or there was only 500 pairs made, they would be the shoe of the year. 💯

I don’t have a pair of Royals so I had to cop these! I also wear a lot of black and I love the suede on these! Buttery shoe! Only problem is I live in MN and here we are already with snow 😢 Most likely will only be rocking these in the summer and fall.

People have so much dislike for these. I love em, classic coloway. Of course leather would have been great with a lost n found treament. The suede isnt a deal breaker for me, i use to rock alot of sb dunks back in the day alot of the them have that all over suede so i guess im kinda use to the material. The box is very nice too. Its a cop for me, i dont have any previous retro.

The one reason why, even though I do not have a pair of the OG Royal, and that the Royal reimagined are now on sale, I still can't bring myself to cop a pair of these, is that I have a pair of the Dark Marina Blue already. They are so similar I just can't drop even the sale price to get a another pair of black and blue J1 Hi.

My 2017 pair is my most hashed pair of sneakers in my collection. The blue on the back panels are almost gone and the heels of my soles have holes in em so i cant rock anymore. These aint as good as the leather ones but im still happy to cop a pair to replace those since the royal 1s are my personal fave J1 colorway

I hit on the shock drop not sure how I feel. My 17 pair is glistening/crystallized these are ok but wish the suede would have been higher quality but I do like the shade of blue better. Good review Mike

The problem is Jordan brand is over-saturating and just releasing watered down colorways. If people want an OG or retro, they respond by releasing these garbage "reverse" colorways or replacing leather/material. Not to mention they increasing prices and charging a stupid amount for retail. Not knocking anyone for copping these especially if they don't already have the royals, but naw these and a whole bunch of recent releases ain't it for me.

For me it’s material and price, too expensive and I won’t get enough wear . I have obsidians, royal toe, marina blue, Unc toe, it’s a maybe not necessary for me. It may be good but not great. This won’t age well . If they came in leather I am good. I will wait even if it’s 1 or 2 years eventually leather will be rereleased. There isn’t enough colours on 🎨 for Nike to keep releasing new colours so it’s bound to come soon. For newbies or those without blue aj1 maybe. Pass for me

I’m sad they changed it up so much. They gave me early access and I didn’t want it. I really love the total color-way but could get with the reimagined.
