I will refrain from commenting on other KZfaqrs. I can share my knowledge and experience. Leather as compared to metal is a bad conductor of energy. Whereas metal is a good conductor for the same. Metal when attached to your body will ensure a free flow of energy. Therefore, I recommend metal as opposed to leather always.
