I am glad you like it! nice to get a compliment from someone who knows a thing or two about watches :), what is your opinion about me buying a Seiko Watch. Do you think it is worth it?

@@Myownshrink Depending on the model and and the price. Seiko has recently had some price increases and although their watches certainly are worth it, a lot of people are unhappy about it. Then I cannot in good conscience recommend Seiko without mentioning their recent QC issues. Misaligned dial or bezel and movements with some really terrible tolerances. For example the NH35 in your Invicta comes from Seiko but they typically run better because the are outsourced. -20 to +40 seconds a day. Many people have reported Seiko's that run at the very edge of that accuracy recently. I am not saying will get a lemon but the chance is there. If you still want to go Japanese, have a look at Citizen or Orient. Orient has some really nice watches for under $300.(Mostly mechanical) and Citizen uses Eco-Drive in their watches which charges the watch with any form of light. You don't get the smooth sweep of a mechanical but you do get 10+ years of battery life before you need to service it. They also have mechanicals in the 8000's and 9000 series but they are more pricey. What are you looking for? Maybe I can point you in the right direction!
