In this video, Rochelle is joined by Connie, who has never worn wigs before. She usually only wears her hair up because her hair changed texture when she turned grey and she feels it's too frizzy. Connie undergoes the most amazing transformation as she experiences our scrunchie, top piece and wigs! Connie is a riot….her facial expressions are hysterical! She could play the straight man (woman) in a comedy duo. Connie should definitely get Freedom, The topper and the scrunchie bun! I think that would be enough to start for her so as not to not get overwhelmed. She looked great in everything and your choices Rochelle were perfect as usual. Connie is a DELIGHT! I loved her face when you de-wigged. The lady is so animated and lovely but when she announced her hair was "ugly" i wanted to run up and HUG her. Her hair is fine as it is--she just doesn't know what to do with it. A lot of wig wearers (me!) have hair that is perfectly find as it is, but we want the flexibility of wigs and hairpieces to give us VARIETY. Connie's lovely just as she is, what you do for her givers her lots of great choices, but on a day when she doesn't want to put on a wig or piece she's still a lovely lady. I'm also enchanted with the lively crowd cheering her on. What a party!

OK, I think I've finally chosen my first "top" - Emma in Sandy Silver. Thank you, Connie for saying your hair used to be "dirty blonde" - just like mine was. I can see that sandy silver is ideal in colour and the Emma top is perfect for putting up in a French twist. Thanks, all. I've been dithering, but I've finallu found that first piece. Great video, Rochelle! I like them all--the topper, Alana, but Freedom is the way to go on Connie and the color rocks! I think down the road she should try some blonds with blends. Freedom has body and volume and it's a great style, and she could even add accessories. If she feels the wig has too much hair then it could be thinned out. As for toppers, I think they're great for folks who still have enough bio hair on top and Connie does.The sky is the limit for her! Also, some wigs' parts can be changed left and right but not all. I think she should leave Freedom's part as is. It looks more natural.

When someone compliments my “hair” and if I don’t mind telling them it is a wig, I don’t hesitate to remove my wig when they start asking questions. I allow them to touch the hair and see how real it feels. When they complain wigs are too hot, I turn it wrong side out so they can see the inside. After talking, it is simple to throw it back on without a mirror according to Rochelle’s instructions. 😁

I like this getting together with gals wig party. Connie was funny. Alana and Freedom looks wonderful on her. even the topper with the scrunchie looks great. when I wash my hair and comb it some hair is on the comb. The best part of wearing Godiva Wigs is seeing new possibilities in your personal style and being able to switch it up. We so often think, "Well, it's just plain 'ol me. This is what I look like." But that doesn't have to be the case, and life's too short to be "plain 'ol" anything. From a strictly economic standpoint, it's also a huge money saver. One good cut and color from a skilled hair stylist (not a box chop shop) will run you the same price as a Godiva's Secret wig. And here's a totally unsolicited opinion... Godiva's quality of wigs and customer service is, hands down, the best out there. The ladies pay attention to your needs and will do whatever needs doing to make it a good experience for you. IMO Connie, you need that Freedom. The look on your face when you saw yourself was worth a million bucks! And hook up with Ro to try some more styles on and see where it takes you. I learned a lot from this video! I have purchased a few hairpieces but am still shy about wearing a full wig. i wear the scrunchies every day. They are great and dont have to match exactly, especially with gray hair which is often multiple shades from root to end. I'm 73 and still have a lot of brown in my gray. And the gray texture is no different from the brown, unfortunately. Ive had fine straight hair my whole life, and was looking gorward to a bit more volume.

I know exactly how she feels.I have two of your wigs and they’re as cute as can be, but I’m so insecure, I’m having a hard time wearing them.

Dear Debbie, tick tock - please don't let your fear (false evidence appearing real) dictate what you do in your life. Wear your wig in a mall or run errands. Go where no one knows you - this isn't necessary, but if you're fearful of what people will say, doing this you'll see that no one is really interested in your hair except you. We are all busy thinking about ourselves - most new wig wearers who begin end up saying "Why the heck did I wait so long????" xoxoxo Ro

Hi Joanie, we do not, but how about you visit me and we make a video together while you're in town?? Our studio is in Woodland Hills, about 45 minutes NW from LAX and it takes less than 2 hours to make it...I'd love to do this if you're interested. I heard Connie say she didn’t like her gray. Nothing wrong w gray on many ladies. It’s the older factor to deal with. I am dealing w that myself. I would have liked seeing her in mochacinno, or lighter shades. Hair pc Emma looked good. Would liked to see it in other lighter shades.

Hi Joanie, after helping thousands of clients over 26 years - many of them wear wigs everyday and the answer is - NO hair loss - at least with OUR wigs! Because we make sure that our wigs are open and airy. Open wefts in wigs do not inhibit hair growth since they allow your scalp to breathe. Also, we suggest to NEVER sleep in your wig, especially when you wear it everyday. This gives your head and scal a break. My sister has been wearing wigs everyday for over 15 years and actually hers and many women's hair get into better shape from wearing wigs. Why? No hair dyes, blowdrying, teasing or hair sprays that dry and damage the hair! I've done it for a few months each year to give my own hair a chance to rest and revitalize. Hope this helps! Ro
