That’s probably one of the best renditions of the national anthem that I’ve heard! She has an amazing voice and that’s what you heard, she didn’t go over the top with the song. Simple and classy!

The Star Spangled Banner is also one of the hardest songs to sing. You need a wide vocal range and it has a lot of big jumps from low and high notes. I always knew her has an actress but she can sing *really* well. She nailed it but it's hard to top Whitney Houston

Honestly, I was in tears because a little ago we almost lost her. I am around her age and I have heard of the demons she has had to face. So to see her standing on this stage. . . It was like God was showing me “See what I can do with a life?” You can conquer those demons.

This performance always means a lot to me as an addict in recovery also because Demi went from almost losing her life to her addiction to being able to heal and be on center stage at the super bowl performing the national anthem. Proof that we do recover. God speed.

After all the bad things she's gone through, battling her addiction etc. She's back singing and is doing great so far. I was at Maroon 5 concert in Miami Saturday before Superbowl. Country singers Dan + Shay were there too and Demi made a surprise appearance and performed along with Dan + Shay. They were amazing together. I hope she continues doing great in her career because she's a very talented singer.
