90% sure he thought it was an 5kx (used price about is about his guess) by accident he has mistakenly glanced over a few affordable watches in the past. He focuses on luxury so it's understandable, no matter how much seiko and casio love there is their are experts on KZfaq in just issues of watches like the Square, 6105 (Willard) or 62mas.

That Rado that Nico eviscerated is one watch my dad left me (except in yellow gold). I agree it's a strange design for modern watches, but I absolutely love it because of what it means to me. Bracelet is exceptionally comfortable btw. Gave me a great laugh hearing you crush it, Nico. Cheers!

Making a choice is important, but it is important to know that because of capitalism and pushing profits almost everything is made with sweatshops and as low a labour coat as possible.

He can’t spot fakes. He can spot really bad cheap fakes. Decently or well made replicas provably passed through his hands and that’s why he’s so butthurt. It’s not uncommon.

I don't think people that buy fake Rolexes are the people that actually take their time to do research. It's more of a status symbol to them. I don't know who said it but if you see someone wearing a Rolex you are more likely to ask if it is real compared to someone wearing a Tudor/Omega for example

I like replica watches. A well made one will show you how silly the high end watch industry is. If a replica can be made with the same movement and materials for 1/20th of the cost then maybe there is a problem with genuine watches. Also I like the content on this channel, I just think he’s pretty biased against them. Since you know, he makes a living off selling people watches.

What about the guys trading fakes with some gen parts, sometimes for $10,000+ in full knowledge they aren't gen. What about those using custom cases, aged dials, hand made movements and the like in an effort to recreate watches that are either unobtainable or insane money?

I know a bunch of people that have fake and genuine watches (including myself) that love watches more than the average guy that just buys genuine watches because he/she/is can. Before I got in the scene I was able to wind a watch and set the time. Now about 3 years later I can already service some movement myself and know a ton about my favorite brands. And guess what... it didn't harm the brand as I'm still buying genuine watches ;) The people he is referring are the ones that buy cheap AAA shitters and brag about it.

Looks like that Nico needs some education about the Longines Hour Angle Charles Lindberg watch. The 1987 edition has a 38 mm case and the automatic L989.2 caliber. The one in the video is probably one from this edition. I have the same model but with the bracelet.

Lots of celebrities and rich people wear fake watches and jewelry. They buy a Rolex and get a clone to wear in the clubs, and wear the real thing at special events. Others have the money, need the image, but smart with their money. People will assume it's real, so why not?

I have a seiko mod and yes it looks like a Rolex. No I don’t care. Gave me a laugh when he got mad at it. It’s a proper seiko movement, nothing Rolex except the crown and bracelet. Loved it

A modded Seiko, isn't that like a modded Vauxhall? IMHO if it's modded to look like something, it just means you don't have the the money to wear the gen or the balls to wear a fake and either admit it's fake, or risk being called out.
