He really needs to re evaluate his opinion on aftermarket diamond watches and stop giving them literally the utmost disrespect to the point he basically has to be joking or just really ignorant (but he is extremely watch intelligent so I don't think its ignorance)... he literally calls small diamonds worthless and worth a few hundred bucks for the entire watch, when in reality it costs many $100's PER Carat, up to well over $1k/ct if vvs and good color, and a fully iced out watch is 10-30ct's. (For Ex: A Fully diamond Rolex Datejust with give or take 10ct of just vs or even Si diamonds costs give or take $10k more than the original steel datejust, I.e give or take $1k/ct for the most basic quality of diamonds.... and it is always hand done and takes MANY hours of pro craftsmanship to set the diamonds) The main thing to is whenever he sees a non aftermarket original diamond piece he is absolutely in love and thinks its god tier and has nothing but fantastic things to say about them. It just physically makes no sense how he could have this much hatred, at this point it is like I said either he's overexaggerating a ton as a joke, or he's just extremely ignorant on this subject for some reason.

It's because it destroys the value of the watch, that's why he is mad about it. Yeah maybe sometimes there are people that make a watch look descent when they add after market diamonds but Nico is a watch seller so that's why he is mad, it completely destroys value of watch unlike factory made watches that have diamonds, it's done much better factory and Nico is a watch expert so obviously seeing diamonds that where added wrong is annoying

However this point is not fully understood in the watch community and is just what ignorant people say that don't fully know how the market works. Adding diamonds does not devalue the LARGE majority of watches on the market, the only watches it devalues is very limited unique pieces, and still lots of them are just worth the same/you get the diamonds for free, or at the most it's a couple % cheaper. And this point here is basically the only actual valid point is that yes on special unique watches it does ruin the watch to a very hardcore watch enthusiast, but this is unique situations, Nico's hatred is for ALL aftermarket diamond pieces, which again just makes no sense.

Rotary is also a popular brand in the UK with a long history in the country but doesn't seem well known in the US. They deserve some love imo.
