I’m very lucky in that I earn a decent salary and my house is paid for. The £20’000 tax threshold won’t affect me (yet) This policy, if it could be implemented would be a real benefit to millions on low incomes AND it would help millions of OAP’s as well. Anyone in either position would be mad not to vote for Reform. All of the other mainstream political parties have been screwing over the poor, working class and OAP’s of this country for decades now. Time that they got something back.

Doesn't help the person who has 20 epileptic fits a day, regardless of medication and every job they apply for, is rejected.. No mention of ditching the atos assessments they have to endure, all the way up to a tribunal.

When Tony Blair brought in the minimum wage it was the end of the working class in this country it just stagnated wages putting the country into recession and double dip recessions. @@GerryT. was on benefits & i agree with what he's saying, many are trapped because as soon as they try work they end up with less - i was getting help with my rent but worked 1 hour over & had to pay full rent... so never did the extra 1hour after that - i-ve managed to get out of that situation now & work full time but he's telling the truth.

At least 3 guys I work with that have a spouse and kids are all having to use food banks halfway through the month, the boss could have upped it by a pound and maybe bought the model below the flagship, but he doesn`t care about us, very few employers do...he shouldn`t be on the same wages as us, but he should care, even just a little...

All workers should be self employed , that way they can negotiate their own rewards & working conditions. This will separate all the wheat out from the chaff. This will reward the ones who are grafters & worth their salt ,with a better standard of living . All those that believe the world owes them a living ,just for showing their face at work ,would have to buck up their ideas or get left behind .

@@garyh1572 That is what some people were getting especially if claiming they had mental health problems and if you can get you kids labelled as “special needs “ you become a carer too, I was genuinely shocked at what I saw and heard but this is real and people are playing the system, I know many on benefits are genuinely hard up and I feel for them but many just see it as a lifestyle choice. One woman I dealt with was getting 28k a year and had been for 11 years !
