One of the best games you'll ever see in NCAA play. Both teams deserved a spot in the tournament but give ND credit for showing some incredible grace under pressure against an excellent foe. Brey had ND playing its best ball at the right time.

Amazing few years for Rutgers compared to what we are used to. Thanks seniors for great memories. This one hurt, but hopefully it is just the start for this program! Congrats ND and best of luck the rest of the way!

Feel bad for Rutgers but they've definitely raised the bar for their program. Yes they've had back-to-back years with gut-wrenching defeats in the NCAA tournament but I'm sure their alumni and fans would have gladly taken this during the decades where they went 8-23 and were one of the worst Power 5 conference programs every season.

A high scoring game favored the Irish who have a high oer but as you saw a low der. Rutgers figured to score against the weaker defense but played into the Irish tempo. Omurayis interior rim protection was neutralized a bit by lashewskis outside game which had him out on the floor too much. Still he blocked some shots as help side defender. Nice contrast rutgers the better defenders but Irish the better attackers. 😉

@@michaelkoran2846 I'ma BAMA fan, I don't think you were even asking me but we are in the same comment section, Michigan went the furthest last year, no big 10 went too far, but I think Mich will be one of the first too flop, as far as big 10 teams I'd pick Purdue to go the furthest this season, doubt they make the final 4 though
