Good one there by His Excellency...

Each time NDDC or the South-south stakeholders summit take place my expectations are always cut short. This is because they end up just going around in circles. It is all talks and no clear-cut policies or plans on how to drive the region forward. There is nothing wrong if we can come up with a regional plan which includes; 1. A workable train and bus system management and control by the region 2. Regional agronomic plan where each state can be tasked with growing one short-cycle and one long-cycle agriculture product. 3. Supporting each state to look into areas of peculiarities in tourism. 4. Strong interstate marshalls that can protect the border of the region(I know this is subject to federal influence and constitutional matters that need amendment). I can go further than this but I have to limit it here. It is so painful that this region boasts personalities like H.E Goodluck Jonathan, Oshiomhole, Wike, Akpabio, Donald Duke, Keyamo, Jim Ovia, Okowa, Elumelu, Edwin Clark, James Ibori, Seriake Dickson e.t.c and the list continues and we are still struggling as a region.
