This is why Africa never officiates in any international event. Rasheed Idowu knocked Bastie Samir out cold and during the fight I saw the umpire practically giving Samir a chance to regain his consciousness after the first dropping. If Africa does not stop sentimental officiating... It is going to take us 20 years back of what the likes of Ghana's Banku, Azuma Nelson, Dick Tiger, Hogan Kid Bassey, Obisia Nwakpa, Jeremiah Okorodudu and other iconic fighters have built to get us this far. Out there we have Efe Ajagba and Anthony Joshua making us proud and we are here doing rubbish...Technical Draw!!!!! ?????

This referee is an absolute joke, a complete clown! He was miserable as he was partial ! He actually endangered the Ghanaian boxer's life! Great fight. Poor refereeing. Terrible officiating. The Nigeria guy- Rasheed won easy by KO. I’m even a Ghanaian. How is this fight a draw when Bastir was knocked out cold? Even if the Rasheed fouled him (which I didn’t see), then Rasheed should lost by DQ. Where from the draw? What’s going on with Ghana boxing?
