Nobody is forced to buy anything, you can upsell extras to anybody but it they can’t afford it they won’t buy it. It’s on the customer to budget their money and only spend what they can afford. I'll tell you when I started to become successful: - I quit looking for affirmation for my decision-making. I asked myself, "What would *I* do?" And I did it. And I stuck by it. - I finished what I started. - I focused less on the outcome and more about my decision-making and practices. Everything seemed to ultimately work out in my favor in the end. - I surrounded myself with positive people. I ignored the negative people. - I quit looking for reasons not to do something. I instead looked for reasons to do something.

I gained almost nothing from my business classes in college. His reaction is the exact I had so often “what the hell does that mean”? A bunch of general definitions you have to learn with little application. The ONLY claw I even remember is when we brought in a speaker who had experience. He told us to make an action list. Write down the exact steps you need to take, and then complete it. For him he had a friend who did buying for hobby lobby. So he wrote an action list. 1) find what hobby lobby needs. 2) find a good product 3) get samples made and pitch them to hobby lobby 4) order bulk. Pretty simple steps, and then execute. It was grueling to find a good chair product, but he found it and ended up selling tens of thousands of wooden chairs to hobby lobby

Taffer walking into a bar is probably intimidating weather you are on his show or not. He has mastered his skills and honed his craft. You can tell he does things for show but you can also see he knows every aspect of his industtry, keeps up with new info and stays relavent, and knows what a good bar looks like when making money but more importantly what is wrong and needs to be addressed when it isnt. It isnt rocket science but he has his routine down and is only trying to make things better as quickly as possible by any means necessary and his stats are what makes him different. I wonder how well he sleeps.

Loved the presentation. As soon as I’m finished with “Crush It” I’ll order his book. Around 42:55 he refers to his online training program. After listening to his talk, he probably should refer to it as something else. Is he going to try to change someone’s behavior? However he acts in his private life doesn’t invalidate his content.

You would be surprised to know that SO MANY PEOPLE STILL DON'T GET IT. They hear the speech, they think they understood but not really because they don't change anything for real. Hear it again applied to other examples...and again with other examples then they finally get it. I'm not kidding or exaggerating. I agree good stuff But every video I hear him giving a speech he repeats himself.
I'm sorry but I have to call BS on the beginning of this where he talks about the bar rescue not being anything but real. There is no way he walks into a bar and 36 hours later it is completely remodeled and transformed. How do you explain applying for being accepted and pulling permits to do major Renovations in 36 hours. There is no way him or his team are not in that city or town months in advance trying to get all those permits.
@YS420X4 жыл бұрын
Permits can be had in less than 12 hours if you have the right people on the task. Jon has 57 crew members, I hardly think it would be that dificult for one or two of those 57 people to make it happen. Also, there's also the possibility that the building is already pre inspected by the producers weeks in advance and permits applied for at that time. It's a massive production.
@scottyhaines42264 жыл бұрын
If you're not changing the actual structure the permit can be done over the counter. Most remodels don't need permits either.
@jonathansnow26133 жыл бұрын
HATER who doesn't have a clue what he is talking about LOL.
@whyisblue923taken2 жыл бұрын
If they require permits, the crew can get them. There was an episode where an owner gets the neighboring space to his bar and tries to expand the bar by taking out the wall without a permit. The city shut down his construction and Jon contacted them and get to the front of the line. It's not too difficult, especially if the crew asks about permits beforehand and figures out what needs to be done. Jon will get everything designed on the night of the recon and he has the morning to get a permit.
@jamesdesomma36392 жыл бұрын
@@whyisblue923taken so you do this for a living ? I do. There is no way that these types of structural permits can be gotten in this time frame. Between plans being drawn up for the remodel, then those plans being submitted to the city for approval, and possible changes to the plans , then the choosing of materials, then the delivery of all of those materials to the jobsite itself. No way!
