I seen a video where Rob explained why he created this style. I wish I could remember what the reason was because I'm sure it would help at the shop of I meet someone with the same issue. Great haircut tho...regardless of the reason.

I have that same flat top comb with the level and it is a great tool to have!!!! My co- workers are always going to me “oh you’re cheating by using that comb” but they don’t know s-t... that comb is great,and as long as my client is happy when they get out of the chair, that’s all that matters

A vanguard is more of a relaxed haircut. A little more sleek if you will. The Pompadour whether it's faded or long trim is all about the hair having tons of volume in the front. Height as well.

Lewis Halsall practice. The big thing I’ve learned is not to go to high with the baseline or you’ll lose the square shape and the whole haircut is fucked. Make your baseline below where the head begins to round

Hard parts are bullshit, they don't look good in my opinion, but the main reason for me not liking them, is the lack of practicality. After just a few days the hair starts growing back, it stops looking "good", and that grown back hair is kinda hard to style, because it doesn't belong in a haircut.
