Very nice mellow lighting on the crew man secure his brake Pole and then mount and ride the car as its Snakes by the Piney Kokomo Forest. Looking over at the little GE 45ton. Elevator Switcher it's almost like it's wistfully thinking when I grow up I want to be like the big shiny UP GE.

well I don't know. That ol' boy driving 1190 wasn't the most precision operator I have seen. He thumped that UP locomotive pretty hard. Yeah I always thought they gave two short blast of the horn when they were getting ready to move? Maybe they were in hurry to get to dinner? Always a good video Tie spiker. best regards chuck,

@@therailroadtiespiker Yes, exactly! I'm also glad the conductor on the ground didn't go 'bat guano' that you had a video camera out. He just nonchalantly waved and went about his work. I'm glad there are still some normal people out there. Thanks Chuck,

@@parrott350 The crews from TP&W are usually great people and I’ve seen a lot of friendly NS crews to.

@@therailroadtiespiker I assume the horn signals went out at the time when radio communications became ubiquitous. When the conductor's requested the train move in a particular direction and the engineer's acknowledged that he'll do that, blowing the horn doesn't serve any purpose.

@@beeble2003 well it still actually does it let’s anyone else who doesn’t have a radio know the train is moving

Between the interchange with NS and Kokomo Grain who operates the train, a crew from TP&W or an NS crew?
@therailroadtiespiker8 күн бұрын
TP&W does the operation.
