Three comments: 1. MK is a beast. Her crossover is lethal. The girl from Ole Miss got her ankles broken and slide halfway across the court. 2. AR and FJ played like their supposed to. 3. Don’t sleep on Poa on the point.
@rachet07086 ай бұрын
Yeah HVL cannot play against the press, seemed like she panicked. Poa was the difference in breaking that full court press and making them fall back to half court D. Poa is a smarter player on D also, doesn't get into foul trouble to often.

Them pressing HVL was genius but it wasn’t enough… Poa is terrific and she also has a ring. She came in and drew two charges and she changed the tone of the game. Ole Miss was making a run to come back until HVL got into foul trouble then LSU came back. That game was exciting. Sheesh

This was a great game for us; definitely get to see what we need to work on before we get to SC; that zone and that press; we gotta practice for it. Angel gone get it done and BiG 4 not playing on D! We going undefeated!!

I agree. I saw this game as a learning opportunity for what LSU needs to work on as well as a taste of what might get thrown their way in the future. Ole Miss did a great job of applying full court press by staying on the players most notably in the second half of the game. Glad we got the win.

Honestly their size inside and bench are the biggest thing imo.. ADR has got to get up to speed because she has to slow those trees down.. I dont care about stopping them just get in the way and not foul

Great game. KM is great at describing the before and after game strategies. I think she needs to explain less because she is helping other teams defend and play offense against her team and helping other teams to play against whomever she plays.She is just great as to taking apart her team and also whomever she is playing so say less as to what is weak in each of her games. No one needs to know all about what she is doing and planning. I like that she encourages the young coaches in a very positive way. Give the lady credit, she knows her stuff. This team will play better. It is not easy to bring together a smooth transition in a short period of time so just keep watching these young kids!

I think the ladies did well, just that HVL is to stay more focus on the point guard or be the shooting star she is and give poa more time to point guard . The defense is not good, they need to work on it and the turn overs, they need to work towards that too

tough game, but this was the first time i saw LSU using all their weapons. Good to see. They need work but I love the unselfish plays. i do see now that HVL's size is going to be something that other teams will want to exploit. The answer? Passing. Pass that ball and leave them high and dry on HVL while the ball is headed elsewhere.
@1Goldcutty6 ай бұрын
She was more in trouble on Defense tho...they were getting her to either switch or in man they were dropping her in the paint and attacked her!

As a point guard, I didn't understand why Haley kept dribbling to the left side of the court, making it easier to get trapped.

For one, she’s left handed and feels more comfortable on that side while going fast, but Mulkey finally starting putting Reese in the middle to assist her.

LSU is the better team and to Ole Miss credit them for hustle and great defense. With that said LSU is missing soooo many shots especially early in the game. They could have had a huge cushion. But kudos to LSU. Geaux Tigers! Oh and let’s stop turning the ball over.

You wanna talk disrespect. Try this one on for size. A very dominant, National Championship, winning team, who's ranked 7 in one poll and 6 in another. The one and only loss to CU, should be their only defeat this season. Possibly one more! We all know why LSU & South Carolina, get treated differently when it comes to rankings. Moreover, Iowa seems to be everbody's team of choice. Let's be real for a moment. Iowa's starting 5 consist of 1 great player, i.e. C. Clark, and 2 really good players. Whereas, both SC & LSU have a strong and solid starting 5, across the board. And they keep getting better, by the game. 3 out of 5, isn't gonna win you a National Championship. However, the Hawkeyes will be able to boast, that they had they had the number 1 pick in the WNBA Draft, with the light's out shooter, Ms. Caitlin Clark. She can score from anywhere on the court. If she stays healthy, she will have a great professional career. Chi'en(Respect! Osu!🥋👊🥊

The reason it was so close imo is the beginning of the 3rd quarter..way too many 3s and not getting the ball inside..when we get the ball inside good things happen..a foul or a score..angel and aneesah will kick it back out..no need to force it
@bear-cy7gi6 ай бұрын
What i want them to do is stop the ball in transition..this been reoccurring..saw the last year team do the samething..when we score everybody just run back without stopping the ball..please get this fixed..its so hard to watch..but way to grind it out..
