why encourage him to play bets that are practically donations to the house? Most strong players just play the main bet in blackjack and not those money draining side bets that by the time you hit them your already down thousands. casinos love when players play those side bets. ik Jason plays them at times but he’s a solid player who just plays them occasionally setting an example for other players.

Sometimes, when you open to 3 boxes/hands and you lose, don't close them down to 1 box/hand. Stay at least another deal at the 3 boxes/hands you will be surprised at the results 🎉

Actually, because dealer stands on soft 17, 11 vs ace (and only ace) is a hit not a double according to wizard of odds. That is the only correct basic strategy exception to always double your 11, and only when dealer stands soft 17. When dealer hits soft 17 then 11 is a double vs ace.

typical session when the dealer won't bust, those aren't pretty. The reason high cards favor the played in predictability. Every move you make at the BJ table is based on knowing that more 10 value cards are iin the deck

Missed the bet tracker but I'm glad you added all those ups and downs and side bets to a break-even. Pattern betting was a solid $11,350 winner that time, without those dramatic bleep-or-bust bets you love so much. I don't know how many times I tilted and walked out with nothing, today included. On your last wager that was not a stack of $5,000 but actually either $6,000 or $6,500 rafter hard to get an exact count from my angle. On the side wagers story this would have been a losing session as you do a lot better with the match the dealer, very hard to make money on these type of side wagers, I generally also stay away from this type. @@MrHandPay Oh wow I think you should try it. Mystic is pretty big plus they use to have a Teepee called Little Six its still standing but they built a new bldg. Its still with Mystic Lake just down the road not far at all. They have a shuttle. Its right down the road from Canterbury Downs. Mystic I believe it's bigger than any of the Grand Casinos like Millacs or Hinkley. I hope you check them out sometime.
