I love to see a Daddy and son doing things together. Maybe I’m just a little jealous because my son doesn’t get to do things with his Dad. He doesn’t see him by his Dad’s choice. So sad I know. I’m thankful he has my Daddy however he is a little older and not up to some of these type of adventures. I try but I’m not quite male enough for him. Don’t get me wrong, he never complains. This is me talking. A Mama’s wish for their boy. Thank you Danny for being there for your boy this is what I’m getting to. He will remember these times very fondly and talk about them for the rest of his life. We went fossil hunting in Florida one time and my son talked about it for two years straight. We will do it again!!! It was way more fun than Disney.

I was 222 lol! That is my house number! Your bottle that you thought was a catsup bottle was actually a sauce bottle that dates from the 1860's to the 1890's. Your green one is from the 1880's to 1900. Some good bottles for your trip! Take care and happy hunting!

Dude! As always, doesnt matter what youre huntin for; always know it's gonna be a good one! Those old bottles are so dang cool! Mudlarking is sadly not possible in Montana....unless your into more modern circa 1990s "artifacts"😅 man florida is so amazing. So much history, and such a gorgeous state! Can NOT wait to get down there in April!😄

Montana here, too. I live on an early 1900's homestead that burned during the 1910 fire, I have some late 1890's bottles that I found here, and one very nice gold hoop earring. But, yeah. Nothing earlier than about 1890.

@@sherpatrailers150 oh that is awesome! There is some amazingly cool antique stuff on homesteader land! Ive always wanted to prowl around some and look for stuff but they seem to all be on private property, or there's a lot more i just dont know about, which is probably the more likely answer😂 we were given some very old cast iron nails by a landowner in the Phillipsburg area that were from an 1870s silver mine but that is about the extent of my antique collection unfortunately. i bet those bottles of yours are very cool!

I have got to do some research and see of there are any known dump sites in Montana🤷 Montana had a miniscule population in that time(not really that much bigger now frankly😂) so they are so interspersed, and Montana is such a huge state that you would be very lucky to stumble on one without prior knowledge. Man would that be cool to find though!😄

You can fix the lip of that oriental cream bottle. Use a clear epoxy and you can form it to match the rest of the lip. Great bottle digging video. Can't wait to see you go fossil hunting again. Go get some!!!

Yes the thing you called a hanger is a window closer, the part that a cam grips when you turn it! Probably solid brass.

The one piece of metal with the hook on it is 1/2 of a window lock. One would be mounted on the top pane and the other half mounted on the bottom pane

Nujol...mineral oil. Helps in constipation. Also doubled as a hair oil!😄 Love the ink, I collect those! So many cool bottles...wish I could have been there!💖

I watch Nicola White’s Mudlarking the Thames and country dump sites and she too found a Honey Almond embossed bottle. If the maker is listed on your bottle look it up. There may be a Great Britain and even possibly London connection. God Bless from Sugar Land Texas USA ❤️🙏🦋

Those clay bottom creeks are a great place to use a probe. The really old stuff like blobs and hutches sink down over time.

@@WILDKYLE When you find a spot on the creek where you're finding good older stuff. Probe the whole area out and mark the hits with dead sticks. Make sure they're long enough to stick up out of the water. Take a four prong potato fork and gently dig them out. You never know you might find one of those $8,000 Coke Hutch bottles. That 1st metal piece that Danny found is the bottom piece to an old window latch. Crazy to believe that we used to feel safe with our windows flimsily latched with those.

you should do one video of finding shells but unfossilized a really good place to find lots of shells is this place called kice island. however, there is no bridge to it so you have to get there by boat or kayak. if you have no luck on kice there's a place called dickman's point which is a massive sandbar and is easier to get through than kice because there are no trees.

Waterman's is my favorite. They still make pens and ink and they're super high-quality at pretty good prices. I used to use their fountain pens years ago and would buy their modern ink bottles! I have to say, though, I've never had any reason to rub soothing balm on my magnolia trees. Old people were weird! (make sure you use quotes around everything if you want to google anything about courad's oriental cream. just trust me.)

Nujol is a brand of mineral oil by Plough Inc., cas number 8012-95-1, and density 0.838 g/mL at 25 °C, used in infrared spectroscopy. It is a heavy paraffin oil so it is chemically inert and has a relatively uncomplicated IR spectrum, with major peaks between 2950-2800, 1465-1450, and 1380-1300 cm−1.[1] The empirical formula of Nujol is hard to determine exactly because it is a mixture but it is essentially the alkane formula C nH (2n + 2) where n is very large.
