I finished watching the offensive side plays of the entire game "film-style" (that's in reading the defense, sets, play itself in details and more importantly w/o emotions). I have to admit that the gameplan Bama did was honestly wasn't bad. I only disagreed with the misuse of RBs and still believe that we underused them and it might've cost us the game. However, after watching the game "film-style" it showed me how tough it is for coaches to coach in game. I mean Ridley dropped a crucial 3rd down catch in the 2nd Quarter. In the 1st Q, LT got called for a clip that slowed down the drive and eventually caused a Turnover. Hurts missed open guys on that 3rd and 4th Quarter drive where we wasn't able to convert on a FG and had those botch snaps. It seems like had the players came through in those situations and won the game, I wouldn't of cared how misused the RBs were because we would had won a different way and style and I wouldn't of criticized Saban and staff. I'm only saying this to say that football is sometime a crazy sport and it's a pure example of why it's an ultimate team game. Credit to Auburn on maximizing their plays and such and taking advantage of Bama's missed opportunities.

The play calling and offensive scheme was fine. However, the offense did not execute, very little pass protection and the defense never pressured the Auburn QB nor stopped Auburn's offense on third down conversions.

Bama had one good drive in this entire game- to start the second half....Daboll's play calling/scheme has not been very good against solid SEC west teams (Miss State, LSU, Auburn). It has been trending downward. He is no Lane Kiffin.

Tua would not have made any difference. Hurts had no time to pass and under pressure most of the night. Additionally, the receivers were not getting open. When Bama had a receiver get open late in the game, he runs his route short of the first down marker... Mental mistakes all night on offense.
