I understand that sometimes they are consistently asking for tips but come on $3 or $4 dollars even $5 per guide that help u and bus drivers and guides on the bus should be given I say if u can't tip then stay home.. this is there job but they get paid like $3 per hour 🙄 they live off tips

We went to both Dolphin Cove and Dunns River Falls in April 2018 and our experience was SO staggeringly different to yours. Not once, at either location, did we experience anyone soliciting tips! The only occasion that we felt pressure to tip was on arrival at the airport. Now, this could actually be because we are English (there isn't really any tipping culture here) and travelled to both locations via the British tour operator that we had originally planned the holiday through. Or could this agressive tip requesting perhaps be a consequence of the economic factors of Covid? Really interesting!

I was just there. Another thing they do is will ask your name and quickly carve it in a wooden statue and make you buy it or feel bad

Yeah the vendors can be hard to overcome if your not used to it.I’m lucky I have dual nationality so once them see my wristband they leave me alone plus I pay $5 to get in as I’m classed as a citizen

If you do not want to tip the Tour Guides, STAY HOME.( At your hotel and just lay pn tjhe beach near your hotel. The Jamaican Tour Guides are there rto assist. They need our tips and they deserve our tips for their service rendered

I would o ok at for the water and I don’t do tips at all not a culture here in Australia nowhere do you use cash anymore
