I kind of want to see Play + Watch, now, where Alex finds the games and Graham plays them. THE RETRIBUTION!

You finally made it to the game that Watch and Play should have been named after. Garbage Day!

I love watching this show even more since Jim started doing his daily Steam videos. Alex and Graham just have a much different vibe than Jim when playing shit games. I only watch the KZfaq replays so I don't know which of the two played the games first but I don't care.

I love Watch + Play so much. I wish they'd do it more often.

Takeshi's Castle bicycle landmines edition is perhaps one of the most surreal and cruel punishments I have ever seen on W+P. (Not punishment for Alex mind, just punishment for whichever poor soul has to spend eternity piloting that god damn bike weaving down that god damn street.)

Watched this again today, went looking for Garbage Day on steam, and it hasn't updated at all since this video was posted, sadly.

Oh yeah, speaking of Slaughtering Grounds, love that all their(Digital Homocide) stuff is banned on Steam now. So that is something nice.

The music in the background of Garbage day is the same music from the late 80s Nintendo customer support training video- its soo weird that I know this.

Ehm... So Lactacyd (one of the medication boxes in Near Midnight) is *not* a made-up name. It's special soap for female intimate parts.

The "cup and saucer" grip doesn't help with anything. You're supposed to cover the other side of the grip with your off-hand. It's prevalence in the face of logic and training probably stems from it being a more natural way to hold the gun. Also, it was in a training video used by the US military during WWII (See kzfaq.info/get/bejne/iNVngZqVptPOfI0.html )

During Guts and Glory I actually put Initial D playing in the background for myself after Alex started doot-doot-ing it.

I mean... some sports can foster a toxic attitude in their players and fans by virtue of the toxic personalities already established in the field and leading by example and influence. in that sense for some types of "Jock" the sport itself can potentially be part of the asshole factor. See also: Gamers, Fandoms, religions, political parties and any group of people large enough to argue. Toxic elements can arise among any group of humans, what matters is how the rest of the group and its leading figures do about it, do they call out the behaviour or let themselves be influenced by it?

"their arms and legs arent attached, they hover on magnets" eh, i think the most reasonable definition of the word attached would include that as attached. Air barriers aren't as meaningful a delineator as our minds would like to believe 5:50 evolution always finds a way to make things look like they might be good without actually going through the rigor of the action that looks good as a side effect of function. Physical beauty of a person functions in much the same way, one doesn't need to "play well" if they look amazing to get along alright in this world

Maybe it's because I've been binge-watching their streams, but man do they tend to get angry at people a lot, mostly communities of people like Magic and whatnot. I wouldn't have the energy to be that angry over so many different things.

2023, looks like Garbage Day is indeed abandoned. Shame.

Came for playing of amusingly bad games, was repeatedly subjected to irrelevant arguments over consumer electronics. Reminded of why I have stopped inflicting a livechat of hundreds upon myself by trying to watch a livestream. Stopped watching recorded stream approx 40% in. 10/10, lrr's reminder valuable to own psyche.
