Superb review ! What’s your thoughts on the day dates such as Rolex 1803 or Tudor 94613 ?

Hi Henry, Thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed the review. Personally I love day-dates much more than regular date watches. The Rolex is outstanding, but I believe the Tudor is much better value for money. In an ideal world I would go for the Rolex, but with prices these days it's hard to justify spending that much more for the Rolex when the Tudor is there also. What do you think?

@@WatchWorld ah that’s my opinion exactly! Just picked up a Linen Dial, Date Day Tudor 94613 . I feel the two tones have come back in a big way recently. But your Datejust 16233 is one of my grail watches !

That's great! The Linen dials are gorgeous, I hope you enjoy it mate 👍 yes the two tones are great and they're more versatile than people think, they're great for formal, smart casual, and everyday wear. If you like the 16233 I actually have it up for sale if you're interested. It's a cracking watch, just going to use the money to put towards another piece. Best regards, Jack

The lume of that 16233 generation is made of tritium, hence the Ts before and after swiss made on the dial. Models 1998-on have luminova lumes and the T’s are no longer on there.

Wow I didn’t know it lit up, I’ve got one in order and was going to change it for the diamond digit face but I’m not sure now. What do you think?

In jubilee two tone bracelet, how many complete link shall it have? And is it also luminous hands then?

Hi maxiringo, The bracelets are usually 7.5 - 8 inches. Yes the hands are luminous also.

Hi Jared, Thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed the review. The Rolex wears flatter on the wrist, and the bracelet is much more comfortable. But for the price the Parnis is a great value watch. Best regards, Jack

is it possible that the 1995 16233 doesn't have lume in the dial?

It has small amounts on the edges of the hour markers and on the hands, but will fade over time.

Hi, I have the same rolex. Why some 3135 movements when rotating the crown clockwise , the hand turns clockwise? On my rolex, the hands turns clockwise when turning the crown anti clockwise.

Hi Michael, Thanks for watching! I did not know this. It could be at some stage during its run they made some minor changes to the movement perhaps. Something I will probably look into to see if I can find any info on it!

@@WatchWorld hi mate I figured this out :) mine is a 3035 movement and that means the hand turns ccw when the crown moves cw. 3135 movement is different 😉

@@WatchWorld it is 😂 but its agood thing to know because I always thought that all rolexes hands goes forward when the crown is being turned forward which is not true, even newer models the hands goes backwards when the crown is turning forward.
