Those are attack crafts And some really old ones what they fired was most likely unguided missiles And modern Strike fighter/Attack crafts use guided missiles or bombs As for people saying they just shot it in some direction Perhaps… but it could just be that the enemy is far

Why are they shooting in the sky and grouped together in formation. That is not a fighting strategy. Why does is look like they are shooting in the air? I do not see any evidence of anything exploded on the ground. From what I have seen, Ukraine does not use fighters.

it is a technique used to get the maximum range out of unguided rockets. not overly accurate. similar to 'toss bombing'.

Safety of their borders of course. Imagine if Ukraine joins NATO, that'll give the US full control right on top of Russia's borders, which is devastating for Russia. Since Ukraine is threatening to join NATO, I don't see any other choice but to invade.

i am watching the videos and i saw a same video from ukrain side and in that they destroyed this same jet at this place, in this video you will see a very greenish ground just before the jet is landed in video, one pilot ejected there after getting hit by ukranians.

You're embarrassing yourself this is old outdated aircraft much like our American A10 Thunderbolt this is the su-25 frogfoot a really solid and reliable ground support or attack aircraft not a state of the art stealth fighter even Ukraine had these it's a really vicious attack aircraft that isn't going anywhere anytime soon and has proved priceless

However low altitude ground attacks like with Su-25's and the Ka-52's can only be made with air superiority which russia doesnt really have to i wonder how effective it really is to fly around in Su-25's as they go into a hugee risk to get shot down..
