Stone Bridge wins the VHSL Class 5 state title for the second-consecutive season on a Hail Mary. Senior Jacob Thomas connected with junior Zeke Wimbush to beat Maury 27-21.

I love 703 football!! Best in the state, year in and year out. Looks like some 757 coaches were sore losers at top of the screen at the 2:21 mark. What the heck was going on at the end of the game?

They are one of the better programs from 757, especially right now. But yes, O Smith is better. Stone bridge could give you a game, they are better than you think. Stone Bridge is ranked number two in the state (and has been the past two seasons) right behind smith for a reason. I’m not saying they for sure would beat you but I’m saying that they definitely could beat you, it could go either way. They killed Madison earlier this year just like you did in states. i’ve watched several games from each team. Stone Bridge ain’t from the 757 so you probably just dismiss them which is your error but there’s no reason to be cocky to the point of ignorant arrogance. Smith is good, But y’all have lost to schools in Virginia in the past, you lost many state title games just like we have to schools IN Virginia, just like we have. We both bleed red.

@@nickcoker4293 we don’t no more bad former coaching on smith no more now they will keep dominating va rank 51 in the country stone bridge played a bad coach team that team could have blown y’all out by 30 with a good coach if you play y’all lose by 30 that defense was terrible that game was slow and bowering y’all defense would have lost on the passing game but no coach runs football whole game if smith gets put on stone bridge non region game y’all getting beat

If Northern Virginia referee's wouldn't have cheated for Stone Bridge, Highland Springs would have beat them again...Highland Springs has owned Stone Bridge and everyone else in the state, including Oscar Smith
