The love for Omega must run in the family. He's my 2nd cousin, and as an 18 year old just getting into watches, Omega is definitely the end goal. Love them to death.

That is my same philosophy - own a nice watch long enough that it becomes vintage. That way you've owned a nice watch for a long time, you have a nice vintage watch, and hopefully you have some great stories associated with each one.

Very good video, absolutely agree with you. Since I’ve been keeping my grandpa ‘s Omega constellation, dad’s Omega seamaster. For myself I’m a proud owner of Speedmaster, this wonderful timepiece I had been considered for having one for 25 years.

most men's wrist watches were 28 to 32/33mm in those era before WW2, largely for land forces/army / trench watches etc. .... hence 34mm original Air king size in 1940s were meant and deemed to be BIG and LEGIBLE enough for PILOTS

Very nice video thank you. I am wearing my father's IBM Quarter-Century Club Oyster DateJust, that he left me after his passing. Engraved on the back with his 25 year date. In those days they would actually let you upgrade if you wanted to pay a little extra, out of pocket, so it has a Jubilee bracelet and the upgraded bezel. probably the only thing he ever spent money on for himself. it resides in my never sell pile. I came to your video because I just bought my first Omega and I'm waiting for it to arrive. I started small, so I found a nice Dynamic Geneve automatic Day Date. late 60s vintage. I'd be interested to know your thoughts on that watch considering your expertise. I feel like a little kid waiting for my cereal box top decoder ring to arrive. anyone old enough will get that. thanks again.

I have inherited a 1954 hand wound 266 movement watch. 35mm size in solid gold and bracelet. Keeps perfect time. From my wife's grandfather on retirement from 30 years service with the Ford motor company. Will never sell.

I actually like My 34mm Rolex, I think it's the best size for a dress watch. I think the size of the watch does not mean quality, My Omega Chronometer is Huge compared to my Rolex but then again, it was designed to be a diver and have good visibility... To each his own.
