The irony in my life being I stopped following politics after their 2nd presidential debate because I didn't like the blood sports, as a center left. Obama came off as super smug and condescending, and the media was pretty bad too. This is nothing short of a tea party now. Crazy

Dylan Williams It’s kind of amazing really. He completely faltered after the first debate. Obama performed very well the next two debates but Romney somehow just peaked.

The 2 of them both cared about people, were willing to attack only policy and not each other, both of them respect women, and both of them felt their runs for president were important for the country. However, the differences between Clinton and Trump go too far.

Yes, I can understand your curiosity, it would be a tough thing to do, but it could be done. It would take a lot of rarely seen political doings. One key factor would be another solid party, not playing the politician games.

A lot of people criticized Jim for his moderating this debate, but I actually liked that he didnt interrupt or talk much. Yeah Obama and Romney went off on tangents a lot, but we're watching to see them talk, not the moderator.

He was also 78 by this point and unlike our current president he didn't need to read a teleprompter in order to moderate this debate. Unlike a lot of other journalists he actually did care about being objective and didn't just say it. He said he never voted in an election ever.

To fix the middle class both parties need to change. The GOP needs to move on from Reaganism, and study Eisenhower's platform. The Democrats need to move on from Clintonism, and study FDR'S platform. When they were the gold standard for both parties we had the #1 middle class in the world.
