@@ndotl honestly, you took the words right out of my mouth. I used to love him but after their divorce, I'm not a fan anymore. I can not stand these douchebags who left their significant others right after they get more famous than them. He left her thinking he's "hot-shit" and then proceeded to marry someone 10 years younger than him, if that's not douchey behaviour then I don't know what is.

@@evandelegeane7596 The ensemble cast in The Staircase is phenomenal because aside from those Toni and Rosemarie, there's also: Colin Firth, Michael Stuhlbarg, Juliette Binoche, Parker Posey, Dane DeHaan, Sophie Turner and Patrick Schwarzenegger among others. The casting director did an unimaginably good job getting all these names together.

@@perenniallachrymosity276 Agreed, the casting directors should get an Emmy for it. Because there are incredibly performances: Michael Stuhbarg is fantastic (yet again) and some of the younger actors are playing against type and they do it exceptionally - was really blown away and happy that Sophie Turner was on it. The big stand outs are of course Binoche, Toni and Colin Firth and all 3 should have gotten Emmy nods!

@@thinredline2795 She is on heavy duty medication for rheumatoid arthritis which makes a person gain weight and retain a lot of water, especially in the face and abdominal area. I would rather she stay on the meds so we don't lose her.

Loved seeing Kathleen Turner in a mainstream movie again! The feel and cadence of this film reminded me of a similar film in the 90s called GREEDY, starring Michael J. Fox, Nancy Travis, Phil Hartman and Kirk Douglas as the dying patriarch.

I have loved Anna Faris ever since Scary Movie. The first one will forever be iconic. Scary Movie 2 was great too. She’s just so naturally hilarious and very talented. Of course Toni Collette is a Queen and I’m still so annoyed that she didn’t even get an Oscar nomination for best actress for her role in Hereditary.

I can't believe they actually used the iconic house from AHS Coven. It's a bit of an odd choice, like I personally will never NOT see this as the Coven house, but lol this movie looks hysterical. Also this explains why American Horror Stories season 2 used a different house at the end of the first episode, the Spalding origin story. They must have been shooting this while Stories was being filmed.
