thames1978 im with ya, in that it’s def in my top 5 best marvel creations list. but i hear people say exactly what u just said, alllll the time. i do get it. but im always a bit curious as to why it’s always number ONE. so.... better than infinity war? or endgame? spidey 2? cap+winter soldier? cap civil war? guardians 2? iron man 1? Jessica Jones??? (Ragnarok, Guardians 1, and AntMan+Wasp are honorable mentions haha 🙃) so, ur saying there’s no competition, they don’t even come CLOSE? not challenging u on your view! just super curious why it’s- without a doubt- number one for soooo many. 🤔☺️✌️

@@_birdie daredevil is a mature show, with real ppl. The way ppl act in this show is the way any normal person would act. You don't get to see such things in the MCU, most movies solely depends on the CGI, it doesn't matter if the actors can't act according to the actual character, the CGI has everything covered. In my opinion civil war was the closest to the daredevil in emotion, acting, plot, etc. Don't get me wrong, I certainly enjoy MCU movies, but they are just too generic; the comedy, the action, it's just too predictable.

It's interesting; I always thought DC were the masters of the television series with Arrow and Flash and Marvel being the masters of the films. The thing is... after seeing Daredevil my opinion is shifting as I'm astounded by the quality of that show, it's unreal.

I don't like live action. I'm a huge fan of animation, and have never been a fan of live action. I'm also a DC fan, raised as one by a fellow DC fan. Huge fan of the pre-52 Batman comics especially(though I guess I don't mind the new 'Red Hood and the Outlaws' series, but that's probably because of Jason.) I Didn't even actually know Marvel existed until I turned 13. Though I did know about DareDevil, due to the 2003 movie, which was always a movie that stood out from my childhood. Daredevil is the first non-animated tv series that I absolutely loved. I love DC's animated movie, but you're right. Their animations are great(holy crud, "Batman: Under The Red Hood" though, am I right? .... I like Jason Todd too much.)They can't top Marvels live action movies and series'. They never have been able to. Dear god, the batnipples still haunt my nightmares to this day.

I've never really liked superheroes shows because the majority of them really suck. But the quality of this show is just unreal. If you haven't seen it i really recommend.

I knew Charlie Cox was British, but I've never heard him speak outside the show before, it's a little odd and my brain isn't kicking in for some reason on the why. lol Brilliant cast for this series, and also very well written out. I'm not that obsessive over anything TV, big anime fan....but I was up waiting very impatiently for the second season and they waited until like one AM to get it going. Had a marathon.

its all connected meaning its in the same universe. Agents of SHIELD might reference the netflix shows but i doubt theres gonna be any crossovers. DD was never part of the avengers and cant really compete to the power houses that the avengers face. you never know with Marvel though. itd be insane if black widow showed up on daredevil though. a boy could dream

DrunkenCokeHead421 Black Widow would be great. She was Daredevil's partner for a long time (that's how I first encountered her). And since she doesn't have any special powers, she would work nicely against the kinds of villains this show has. Unfortunately, Scarlett Johansson is probably too busy and too expensive. But if she has a few days open, and is willing to work cheaply enough, it would be great if they could include her in an episode or two. Sadly, I don't expect it to happen.

I just think making references wouldn't be a problem you know. There is that story that the Oscorp Tower almost showed up in the Avengers so, who knows, Spidey don't need to appear in a Marvel Studios movie to be in that universe, he just need to be mentioned, a little reference here and there, I think that wouldn't be a contractual problem. Spider-Man and Daredevil always were extremely connected in the comics, they even share their rogues gallery, Kinsping is a main villain for Daredevil as much as he is for Spidey too.

This is why im looking forward to this. Gotham is a procedural. Its ok, but its just "what case is Jim Gordon going to solve this week" with Batman characters. This being Netflix (and serialized) im hoping breaking bad levels of character development, and action that seams appropriate to the characters motivations rather than being gratuitous *_cough_* Agents of Shield

I am actually quite surprised how good the writing and character development on this show is. Not really a fan of any of the Marvel and DC comic based shows like Gotham and Agents of Shield (although I've seen season 1 of Gotham), but this show really is superior.

They did Daredevil right in this tv series and didn't over-glamorous the character like they did in the movie. Still not as iconic as Batman yet but there's still a few more seasons to go. Would love to see them do an anime style Daredevil and Elektra based on Frank Miller's Elektra the Assassin comic in Bill Sienkiewicz artistic style.

I'd really like the Defenders series on Netflix to do crossovers with #AgentsofSHIELD. Their powers are TV budget friendly and the actors aren't huge stars like the Avengers from the movies, so it would be simple enough to do. Yet Daredevil, at least, is a famous enough superhero that his appearing on AoS should gain the show some serious buzz - and positive feedback from viewers who feel that there aren't enough comic book characters.

I'm coming in super late with this - Charlie Cox definitely stutters. Doesn't seem to affect his acting, though!
