1- Thank you John Kirby, a retired rear admiral that knows what he's talking about. And thank you Lawrence for interviewing him. 2- In the first question in the debate they asked Trump whether blanket tariffs wouldn't increase inflation, he answered "No they won't.(period) ... (silence)... One doesn't need to be an economist to know that blanket tariffs *do* ramp up inflation, and may lead to depression. It appears Trump hasn't got a clue what tariffs even are. Tariffs can be used in some cases, but only with great discretion and circumspection. 3- I pity Karine Jean-Pierre for the nonsense and disrespect (nearly abuse) she has to cope with.

I've been saying that for 3 days on groups on FB, trying to encourage common sense. Most people are staying the course with Biden. But I was disgusted with our number one Senator here in Colorado who was a Basher yesterday. I sent him a scathing message and hope that it was one of thousands. I'll think twice before voting for him again.

Really glad that you discussed the 24 hr nature of the job of President. People should remember that Trump's daily workday started about 11 am and that he watched hours of television. In short he did very little work. He did not understand the intracacies of the job, nor did he have the discipline to learn and implement the necessary duties of the office. Biden is experienced, balanced, and has the requisite knowledge and integrity to be an effective president, as he has shown. 💙

Actually, with the 10% tariffs, it would raise the price of a $30,000 import to $36,000 because the $3,000 is added "cost," which would typically be matched with an equal increase in the profit margin. 😮 Also, the price of American built cars would increase since many of them use foreign made parts or raw materials. All products, even the American made products, would increase in price due to the 10% tariffs since almost all products are at least partially made in foreign countries. It would be a hidden vat tax! 😮😮😮

American citizens need to be explained the 10% tariffs Trump will impose. Media should spend more time to emphasize the contrast between Biden and Trump's handling of foreign policy. Maxwell, Florida, rent has become extremely expensive in central Florida, this is due to greedy investors that has raised the rents extremely high. Why no one is looking into this. Sucks!!!

It’s happened all over the country including here in Texas. 600.00 a month increase in rent since the beginning of the pandemic. Investors are making sustaining impossible.

Beegirls made the point that investors are affecting housing: they buy up houses and apartments, raise rents, offer on AirBnB, squeeze out locals. I’m rural now and I can’t afford to live in the city where I grew up (in Maine). So yes, corporate greed. And this administration is working on it. Sorry I don’t have more details.
