The bar is set high in singing contests in Phil. With vast amount of talents, judges does not turn easily. You must be extremely exceptional to catch judges' attention.

Judges looks for originality, most people here can sing high notes and has great control as we are exposed to a karaoke at a young age almost singing whenever we like, so competition here is more hard than in other countries, great singers is just normal here, but you gotta have style and creativity to be on the top..
