I disagree thoses decisions are to make the quality of the game better any albion players even founders pack should be happy that the dev care about the game. Are founders angry that they can't grief their futur server and make the economy potato for months?

The changes can be the greatest ever. They changed the terms of the deal. That is deceptive and they know had that been stated initially it would have reduced the sales. For that, they are dishonest and not putting player experience first. If they truly felt that way they would be 100% transparent from the start.

@@Xarlithion To play devil's advocate: People assumed that things would be the same as on Asia. Streamers told people to buy founder's packs so that they could make hundreds of millions or even billions by exploiting early black market and s other stuff. SBI never told people what kind of starting conditions you get. With a founder's pack you still get skins, a year of premium, gold plus a headstart which is still going to be worth something. It's still a better deal than outright swiping.

Founder packs are certainly there for guilds to make huge money in game, but also for players who like the skins. I bought the silver as I like the look of the skin but was not worried about getting day 1 problems of having to rush around and see server issues ie 3.3 hour delay in when they came up to be playable vs the time previously hoped they would start.

Selling early access at all is super disgusting. 100 bucks to play today and 50 for just the weekend. Starter bundles on the old server are 85 and 45 bucks for same amount of premium plus skins. Makes me want to give them no money at all, just to punish the FOMO marketing. And it's still blatand pay to win. Literally no point trying to do any PVP when half of the players have five days advantage it will easily take a couple of weeks to even out...

One could argue that people also get half a year of premium (which is about 100 mil silver on west) + 1000 Gold (6 mil silver), the pegasus mount skin (who knows how much that is worth down the road in a year or two). Streamers which basically had to be on Europe as early as possible and need the character name protection needed to purchase this anyways. It's essentially a business expense. And because of the Alpaca drops they'll get a ton of free afk viewers the next few days. Guilds who spent massively on founder packs and imagined themselves raking in billions (which they still might though) will be pissed. Personally, I'm too invested in my West character (billion+ silver, billion+ fame, lots of 100 spec equipment, can use/equip every single item in the game) to spend 100 bucks to start fresh. I'd rather play other games.

I do get why alot ingame players do blame about it finaly after I saw your Video. But as a founder ,solo and guildless Player coming from West. I think it is a great change!

This is the whole reason why SBI and the parent company that own them aren’t allowing character transfers. They want to squeeze as much money out of players they can. These founder packs are $200 in Australia and have awesome skins. But the decision makers that run this company don’t play their own game and are so disconnected from the player base it’s not funny. It’s a great MMO but does not release enough new content, which they’ve promised to do and are failing to do.

Sounds like changing the terms of the agreement after a non refundable sale. Not saying what they did was technically illegal but with a working example of the previous new server launch and their inability to address the difference in launches until after the majority who were going to buy it did.. is scummy. I would be curious to know when they decided on the current course of action. Was it the plan the whole time or did something change recently.

As student in law no its not illegal actually there was a statement or insinuation i belive where they said they would change some starting aspects this time so as it was informed you would be held liable not only that they didn't promise you a get rich fast pack they promised you early start,gold prem ,skins,avatar they wouldn't need to actually mention this at all since its balancing the game but maybe you bought the founder pack or know someone who did all ima say is welp😂

@@AlexanderReddyForU Of course it's not illegal you dont have to study law to know this. It's just very scummy and for me personally I'm done giving SBI money. I managed to talk many friends into giving Albion a shot with the EU server so I made pretty sure to drive them away this morning. XD I'm also thinking about charging back via bank and facing perma ban.

Most of the plots are not public therefore untill next month those are locked from crafting, and new players are forced to use own islands. Thats why its a good thing to make certain plots avaioabke for community lets hope its not ahead of those who bought other plots, but when ppl craft t6 i expect to have access at least for t4 that would be a good spot of it.

I'm not a founder. whoever I know a lot of ppl that bought expecifically with BM flipping in mind, and few of those ppl lives in countrys that 200 USD is the total monthly wage for majority of ppl, I don't think the changes are of any bad, but they should have anounced at least the BM nerf before the founders pack sales went live

This is a similar thing when they accidentally released the edge crystal in market a few weeks ago. And me as a return card swiping player who know a little about it. Top up 50aud and bought a T8 edge crystal and craft it into awaken. Just know the second day it turn into trash in my inventory. They call it a bug and will not refund anything. No apology no nothings. Also they say as a return player I should know about all the update. It really just show me how bad Albion online treat they current player. And how they are not willingly men up to they own mistakes. This is just wrong. Now the founders pack and premium subscription too. Is really draw the line for me. This time I go straight to the “fair trade Australia” they refunded all purchases for me. For those who live in Australia or currently live in Australia. Just go file a report to “ fair trade Australia” if you want a refund cause the funder pack scam and god awful customer service. Cause the support team scum is not worth the time to dealing with.

@@lookingthrough it’s a AU government thing. They make sure you get what you pay to do and what receive what you pay for. You need provide them the evidence that. The game is purposely not telling you the deal/ contract … But keep this in mind after their refund you. If you continue put money into it after this you won’t be able to get it back again.

Forget about the consequences of the extremely late announcement in the forums about this topic. The main issue is the trend that is clearly visible....Albion is 100% going downhill straight to the gutter due to corporate greed.

Not as much into corporate greed but more like they are poor. The game is bad monetarily because they keep aiming for West market... Anything you want to buy have to atleast cost 15$ or upwards. You think 3rd World Country or any High-End PC players would buy that? Any high-end PC players have better choice than to play Albion. They don't know their own market

Sorry Mog, but I cant agree on this take. Having 5 days headstart is already a huge advantage and I dont see an organic real controversy here. The changes are good for the game, the Gold Founders have already a big advantage and to yell "scam" just because the huge advantage turned into "only" a big one. It would have been even ok if they didnt even announce it imho. No big deal. Besides all that.. thx for the sumary. I agree with most of your takes but just not on this one. PS: I am founder myself and from what I have heard SBI has stated multiple times that theys are going to change the release in order to ensure a more stable economy for all. The thing is that they probably didnt know what exactly they were going to change a few weeks ago and its hard for me to believe that this changes will make a huge effect. If so, then only for some fat whales and organized people and to be honest. I dont feel sorry for those who abuse whole systems. As stated already. We pay 5/3/1 days to start early and thats was what we payed for exactly. In no way I feel like this is a sort of scam etc.

Now what mog said makes sense to me BUT ur also not in the wrong for ur take here, now founders got honestly owned by sbi that fact is true, it doesnt matter if 5days start is a huge advantage or not, cuz maybe 90% of founders or MORE might not have bought it if they knew about this at the beginning cuz why just use 100s of dollars for access to play for 5days where most progress, not all but most progress gonna get reset after real launch happens, like think this way, why would ppl buy a 5day early access whoch isnt even for a week, plus whose honestly buying this for a f2p game WHERE THEY DONT NEED TO SPEND MONEY TO BEGIN WITH, the answer? Simple cuz of the HUGE advantage that founders got from asia launch. Sbi 100% did this as a cash grab cuz if they announced these changes with founder packs most founders wouldnt bother at all

Depends what your goals were. If you wanted to spec up fast and live in the mists you have huge advantage over noobs, true. But if you wanted to do BM flipping or mid tier BM crafting as a little group you were screwed and had to change plans and pretty much only invest into gold asap. It's not a scam in any form since you recieve loads of goodies which cover your expenses, but if this statement was made via KZfaq channel before founder pack sales there wouldn't be nearly as many players with gold or crystal borders running around EU server as there are right now.

people allways new that found packs, early access alpha / beta entry for cash, battle pass, you call em, its all a scamm. but in the end you get to play before the Horde approaches and you got some skins and stuff. if anything the 20$ pack is nice, but thats it. im gonna check out the Game when its open for free to play with some friends, but honestly no idea if we gonna stay or quit after a few days/weeks

I had the same issue with a Google play issue with my subscription, I contacted Google support they refunded my premium (not founders) later that week my account was banned for RMT hmmmm OK sbi

11:19 and how about this: there was a bug in a game (i can`t tell what bug it is for a reason) and like 6-8 months ago SBI told they fixed it. before they told about this bug I didn`t even knowed that this bug exists, so after few hours after SBI announced that is fixed i found out, that this bug is still there. I reported immediately about it and was doing this mostly everyday for like a month.. no reaction.. so what left to do... just use this bug for my own good.. And i see some ppl know and use this bug too

Tbf like you said they werent promised what they tought they could do they were promised an early start ,skins ,premium,gold and a yitle and avatar so no founder users werent scammed the things they eanted to exploit were too game breaking and gave an unfair advantage why would anyone think SBI would leave it in there tbh this is all like saying SBI why did you remove a game breakijg mechanic from the game 😂😂

as a free to play player i see this as a win, i dont want anyone running around with 3billion silver in the first week of launch. it takes so long to get that much as a free to play player, its just not fair at all…

But there are players with billions of silver already. On top of that they invested it in gold so it has effectively doubled already and it won't stop multiplying any time soon. When you get on the server it's already gonna be same as albion US is.

Albion Online " One world, *One sever* " But its Okay... im closer to europe anyway so yeah... but the early albion concept of one sever was a good one... maybe later when connectin speeds improve But now that i think about it... albion will be dead soon, so were gonna have to wait for another game with " One world, One server"

this is why I, not an Albion player, don't like Albion. Why is the first few weeks of the game able to dictate so unbelievably much of the servers economy? Like, the first few weeks you can make billions with crafting, and after a month or so, crafting is almost useless.

I´m so glad that I quit Albion with the EU server announcment. Game is in deep decline, and SBI and Stillfront are just milking money. This is just a sign that the game became a big money scam.
