After using the MORryde RV Door Latch Extender for over 18 months here is my experience concerning it’s compatibility issues with certain keyless door locks, particularly the Latch.It brand. Despite initially finding the latch extender to be a game-changer for our RV door functionality, the set screw attachment design eventually led to damage on the Latch.It handle. Upon reaching out to Morryde, they acknowledged similar reports from other users but hadn't tested their extender with Latch.It locks initially. While the latch extender concept remains solid, its universal compatibility is questionable. Very helpful, thank you! We have the Latch It as well and were thinking about adding the MoRyde handle. We will hold off until they provide more information.

Thousand foot view. Both halves of the handle attachment appear to be both concave and convex. That being said the backer portion would lack physical local contact where the set screw would come in contact. Since it’s pot metal I would thing this the cause. You would almost need a shape matching shim on the back side of the handle to distribute the load. Good luck with this. Love the content and keep up the good work.

We had it installed when it first came out at the FROG rally in August of 2022 and it is still working great. We have the RV lock on our 2022 Riverstone 42 fskg.

I still use the original keyed lock and don't intend to change.

Oh almost forgot I saw your RV tank treatment test and you used the wrong Calgon product. You should have used Calgon bath beads not water softener. 40oz. Pin-Sol with one cup bath beads then fill the rest with water in a gallon container.
