Күн бұрынIn this video we visit the Garden Buffet located at the South Point Hotel. On weekends they have prime rib and mimosa days but honestly this was probably the worst buffet I have been to in Las Vegas. Aside from the a couple of options, the whole experience was very underwhelming. If you end up coming here, make sure you get a players card, as there is discount for people in the player's pogram. I am not recommending this place, this video had been requested in past and well.... here we go hahaha)

My wife has a pretty significant shellfish allergy and we ate at the buffet. We informed the cashier's and she had the chef come out and go over with her what she could eat. What was incredible was ten minutes later he found us at our table and made sure what she was getting enough to eat. That's never happened before - if you have good allergies the south pointe has great options and takes lots of precautions.

I really like the South Point buffet. There are certain items I really like, and some not so much, but overall it's decent. I usually go for lunch (around $15) so the prime rib isn't an option. They do have stuffed bell peppers and a good variety of salads that are really good. I believe their food is better than what you would expect at such low prices.

Usually go to their buffet once a trip for brunch. Every time I have been there the prime rib was good. Here's hoping my next trip it's not like the prime rib you had. Thanks for doing reviews!

You can always ask for them to put the meat on the grill for you. That’s what I always do. It comes out even better!

Last Saturday morning was my 7th and last day in Vegas. Was considering Southpointe brunch and read the reviews first and decided to pass. Ended up having a solid breakfast at Blueberry Hill. Appreciate the video, keep up the good work Jorge!!

For what it's worth, we LOVE the Garden Buffet! A lot of options and we've always had good food. Is it a high end 5 star rated restaurant...no. But for it's price point we believe it to be excellent.

I stayed at South Point on Tuesday, 13 June, 2023. The staff were Great, very nice and helpful. The food was mostly OK but I found the pizza disappointing. There was a standout in the food: A dish I think few would go for, the Louisiana Cajin seafood gumbo. It was really very authentic and good. Served over rice. The pastries were good. Most popular food, the Prime Rib, by far.

i tried the south point buffet last month with my gf. we had the same experience: not worth leaving the strip for it. we feel like all the resort buffets have gotten worse recently. or maybe normal restaurants have just upped the game? idk haha

That place looked amazing especially when compared to the Luxor buffet. I had the Luxor buffet the Sunday after thanksgiving and it was just awful with empty stations throughout, rancid sushi and shrimp and the churros looked like cat poop. leaving only gritty soft serve as the only dessert option.

@@Vegas-Must-Try I liked the Luxor Vlog yesterday pretty honest. I met the manager and Chef last week and we talked about my concerns and issues I had in November. I will say that both in your vlog and my visit things did improve, some exponentially. Chef Wreid takes great pride in this buffet and his team, and from the meal I had last week it shows. I think that bowl of wasabi gloop confuses both of us. When you think about it it's a pretty good value overall. Your channel is building nicely congratulations! Jimmy V

South Point garden buffet is mainly for locals. This buffet is really not geared for tourist who has money to splurge. Although I'm definitely not opposed to eating there due to its budget friendly deal.

I was here in April like right next door at the resort, I wanted to try but was way too lazy to walk over to the buffet lol maybe a 10/15 minute walk but whatever lol your prime rib you received is exactly how I like to eat mine

For the price you can't beat this buffet. Always stop in every trip and enjoy it. I have been to all buffets that are currently open and still find this food good for the price.

You can always ask the meat carver to put the meat on the grill behind them. That’s what I always do. I like it there. It’s not the BEST BUFFET, but for the price, it’ll do.

I went to this buffet after seing some youtubers giving it rave reviews. But I personally did not like the South Pont Buffet the time that I went there. Nothing seemed appetizing and everything was bellow average in taste and selection.

We went there on the way into the strip from SoCal, during the week for lunch. It was good, not great but better selection than the Excalibur buffet. Instead of prime rib, they had brisket, which was also inconsistent, but there was BBQ sauce there. Its too bad the Station buffets are probably forever closed, which would be a great comparative. Its probably good for the locals who gamble there a lot, but if you are just visiting for a short time, I'd go to other food options, especially off strip on Spring Mountain Rd.

1996 was the 1st time in Vegas and Circus Circus breakfast buffet was $3 and witnessed servers dumping scrambled eggs and sausages from white buckets and into the trays. Gross.

The Circus Circus buffet in Reno was closed down for awhile in the late 80's or early 90's because of food poisoning. After an investigation it was found that "human fecal matter" in the food was to blame. That place is the worst

Jesus, why does everyone say how good this buffet is, this looks like one of those low price low quality food buffets, yikes🤢?? Everything looked disgusting. The desserts were the only thing that looked worth trying. Maybe that's why the bbq line was so long, they knew something you didn't lol. Thanx for an honest review.

It doesn't look appetizing to me. But at Bellagio looks good and isn't delicious, so maybe the food is not that bad. If I'm staying in a hotel middle of the Strip, I need 2x Uber and pay for it. So, it's not really worth it. Thanks for sharing. 👍🏻

I ate at the cafe and it’s terrible…. Don’t eat at the SouthPoint casino. If you have to, eat at the deli or pizza restaurant near the sports book. Their steakhouse has a large line typically

That's absolutely not true. I regularly stay at SP, and the Coronado Cafe is one of the better places to eat in Las Vegas. You may have had a clunker of a meal, in which case you should have complained, and they would have given you a substitute dish or no-charge meal. I've eaten there dozens of times, and when something wasn't right, they made it right.

Visitors to Vegas who don't like staying on the Strip and spending a fortune in the $$$ restaurants everywhere on the Strip usually look for "cheapee" places that have decent food. To suggest that the CC doesn't fit that bill or that the food there is "terrible" is ridiculous. I've tried nearly everything on their menu, and most of the dishes were good, especially the Asian and the breakfast fare. I can't say that for any other "budget" resort 24-hour cafe in Henderson, Summerlin, or off-Strip Vegas. You gave an accurate critique of the buffet: We have avoided eating there for the last five years--even with discount coupons--because the food is consistently sub-standard. But you and the OP are off the mark re the cafe.

The problem with buffets considering all this pandemic issues is its like you're shaking hands with everyone in there. Makes it even worse with people licking their fingers and grabbing those tongs and serving spoons. Imagine if you're a finger licker yourself.

Everything looked less than appetizing.Also,all the serving platters/pans at the food station had spilled food all over that they didn't keep wiped down and clean. I wouldn't pay $25 for it.The prime rib u had looked raw.

For the price your paying, it wasn’t that great and not worth $28 dinner. If you just want Prime Rib dinner, you better off going for $8.99 @ Fremont in downtown.

Too snarky. Prime rib is supposed to be served medium-rare to rare. If you want it cooked more, you can ask the staff to cook it more. Stating that you are hung over and then giving a review brings objectivity into question. 👎

The buffet is OK, not good food. For $25 you do get a lot of variety that you can't all eat. It's not the type of buffet to go out of your way for, but if you're a tourist in the area, it's worth a try once. The other restaurants at Southpoint are better though.
