There can be multiple reasons for that, I also might be facing the same. But changing the exhaust improves the initial torque. are you feeling that too?

@@guruvishnu22 okay….yes initial acceleration has increased a little. Top end speed/acceleration is compromised.

Assuming you don't have any Piggyback or Fuel Optimizer installed, most probably your bike is running lean. You don't have top end performance as the engine is not getting enough fuel to run at higher RPM's (as the adequate mapping of ECU is not done). Usually this happens when negative pressure is generated at header pipe due to high velocity of exhaust gases. This is not the case in lower RPMs. Search for Scavenging Effect! Hope this helps! 😊

I haven't tried mounting any luggage system yet, but I can confirm that there's not burning heat throw from the pipe itself, so I am sure it's way less to nothing transferred to the shield.

Hey brother, as long as the wiring is done right there won't be any issues, you can add additional light or just change the headlight itself to powerful ones, there are some good replacements, if your need is powerful throw.

I hold a diploma in Mechanical engineering, and yes I would recommend this for performance improvement, pairing it with a custom aftermarket ecu would also help.

I have mentioned in the video, and again it's not at all causing any discomfort to the pillion, but if you place the luggage system too far in the back, it might interrupt the Fume throw, and the sound gets louder.

I am not much familiar with duke 390s but you can do some research by yourself, know what your stock exhaust consist of and buy better one. But remember to remap the ecu after changing the exhaust.

No need., It's the last question I tried to answer before the gopro died, "NO need to remap, it can run well with the Stock Icu " - manufacturer said.

Always better to remap with Powertronic if using any changes to exhaust..but..might not be the case here.
