That's very strange weather experience, maybe you were just unlucky. Rains are very uncommon in summer, 90% of the time it is extremely hot and sunny.

Thank you, it could be that we were unlucky. However, we did notice that region had lots of lightning and thunderstorms during our entire month.

@@TandAJAdventures When it is rainy, it is usually stormy. Maybe the lightning is more common due to the proximity to mountains.

Hey, we agree that the food we ate on this trip wasn’t rhetorical healthiest. However, we must mention that we have a very strict food dietary requirements and can only eat specific meat and chicken! Hence, we eat vegetarian things. When it’s hard to find places that meet your specific cooking needs, it’s hard to eat out and so we go for margarita pizza usually. Which isn’t healthy but it’s something to keep us going.
