I understand. But why are men able to post themselves online? I’m wearing my proper hijab, I’m not wearing make up either. You see, you say wearing the proper hijab like if it was easy, it’s not. Maybe for you is, but I as a sister find it difficult and more by the amount of opportunities I don’t have. If I had a man that would work for me and provide for me, I would probably not even post myself. But the thing is, I’m not posting myself for no reason, at least I’m trying to guide in some way. We already know what is the proper hijab. And in this point there’s even points of view, there’s ulamah that say the correct hijab is the one I’m wearing and there’s other that say I have to cover my face. But that’s my choice.

Did you check online hijab and abaya places yet? We are in UK and wr can order usually all islamic clothings from small underpieces to hijabs and ubaya at MODA NISA. Check them out. For shops depends where you live in the world. Take care.

Assalam alaikom sister welcome to Islam😊. First of all I don’t know where are you from, so I don’t know which places should I recommend. In my case I usually go to a small market that opens every Wednesday in Spain. But I’m sure that if you search online you can find tons of these hijabs and abayas. May Allah make it easy for you🫶🏻🫶🏻

In uk we can get to the market run by bangladeshis with lovely things including cheap pashminas etc but we the younger people get some extra stuff from online shopping from Turkish fashion company Moda Nisa and they have really pretty good quality hijabs and ubayas and many other islamic clothing, you can choose which other fashion companies you want your ubaya to come from as they have different designer companies including the popular LC waikiki for the younger people. They have everything you need as a Muslimah. Take care and lovely to hear you are a new Muslim sister.

And tell the believing women to lower their gaze and guard their chastity, and not to reveal their adornments1 except what normally appears.2 Let them draw their veils over their chests, and not reveal their ˹hidden˺ adornments3 except to their husbands, their fathers, their fathers-in-law, their sons, their stepsons, their brothers, their brothers’ sons or sisters’ sons, their fellow women, those ˹bondwomen˺ in their possession, male attendants with no desire, or children who are still unaware of women’s nakedness. Let them not stomp their feet, drawing attention to their hidden adornments. Turn to Allah in repentance all together, O believers, so that you may be successful. (Surah An-Nur verse 31) ˹O Prophet!˺ Tell the believing men to lower their gaze and guard their chastity. That is purer for them. Surely Allah is All-Aware of what they do. (Surah An-Nur verse 30)

As you can see it’s not mentioned the word “hijab” in itself, indeed hijab means barrier. But it’s applied in all sorts of of ways, it can also refer to the physical barrier in this case, which is the piece of clothing.

“O Prophet! Tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to draw their cloaks (veils) all over their bodies (i.e. screen themselves completely except the eyes or one eye to see the way). That will be better, that they should be known (as free respectable women) so as not to be annoyed. And Allah is Ever Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.” [al-Ahzab 33:59]

So it’s more than obvious the type of clothing we should wear appears in the Quran. But of course in this video I’m stating the most important thing at first is to understand Islam in itself, not to put on your hijab. Hijab will come naturally. And Allah knows your intention. I feel you, because at first I don’t get why I should wear the hijab, but with time and knowledge I realised it’s actual meaning. I hope you understood me🫶🏻

@@TheAmazighMuslimah The Qur'an calls itself a clear book (Q5:15, Q27:1). There is no need to add the brackets [ ] in between the words in the ayah, these are added by later interpreters, who created fictitious material and inserted it in the Qur'an, the Arabic text is clear. Surah al-Azhab 33:59 does not say to the women to cover their cloaks ALL over their bodies, do not add words that are not there. It says to have them draw their outer-garments over their bodies, mostly to conceal the private parts and the chest, not to cover themself fully / completely this is not mentioned at all. The ummah should continue to use their intellect to approach this topic, and not follow blindly the scholars with a hidden agenda.

Life is always teaching you lessons. It’s up to you if you want to learn from them and become better or the opposite. I still need a lot experience and knowledge, but every day I try to become a bit better than the day before. And this is something everybody should apply.
