Arc Browser is the coolest and really unique but it's not for everyone, it even Hacked my Kirta shortcut key 🤣 so had to delete it from the desktop. CTRL+Shift +A, if you use this shortcut key for anything please delete the Arc browser shortcut from the desktop or Change the shortcut key for Arc by going into its properties.

Then what you use, chrome? 😅 Worse! Firefox? Better but they still do crazy stuff behind the scenes. You will understand that if you read their terms and conditions thoroughly.

Arc is all about being different. It’s not right to disregard it just because it doesn’t look and feel like other browsers. Like anything new, it takes a bit of time to get used to. But really, it’s nice to see something new in the browser world, especially for anyone tired of the same old thing.

Stating "Don't Install Arc Browser on Windows" is a bold claim. especially when it is due to your lack of knowledge about the shortcut keys rather than a fault of the browser itself.

The biggest issue i have with Arc, is that in order to use your scroll wheel, you need to actually hold the button down to activate the scroll. In a browser like Brave, you just need to scroll with the wheel. The extra click is not necessary. I checked in settings and there doesn't seem to be a scroll wheel/mouse option, though i may have missed it. Thing i like most about Arc is the split view, many good use cases for this especially when comparing articles from different sources.

I don't get the split screen hype specially for windows where you can literally drag a new tab to the side BOOM split screen with extra functionality

It didn't so much hack your Kirta shortcut key as hijacked it. But that's a great point. Whenever we allow a new desktop shortcut to be created by newly installed software, it's a good idea to check the shortcut Properties to be sure it's not hijacking a shortcut you regularly use elsewhere. And also check the new software's settings, to be sure it's not hijacking shortcuts you rely on there either. The thing I'm most concerned with is actually the last item you mentioned - you need an account to use it. While it might be for a benign reason, needing an account is often a way to track you (I'm looking at you, Microsoft! 👁).

@@kilObit LOL!!! You really love Linux now! It's great for tech savvy folks like you who will learn enough Linux to make it shine. But Microsoft won't be worried until there's a top-to-bottom & legal Windows emulation on top of Linux. Something the average Win user can use safely & securely w/o having to learn anything Linux. I think that would also attract the big software makers, too (provided they don't have contracts with or threats from Microsoft to stop them). Hope you'll do some future Windows emulator vids as new ones come out.

Hello - very good video. To me, this new operating concept seems just as “sensible” as the Gnome Project in Linux, for example, which also wanted to revolutionize the familiar desktop with a simple interface. But in Linux, the “normal” KDE desktop is worlds better for me, and I feel the same way here with the Arc browser.

For a new browser company trying to get their name out there, I think your choice of thumbnail for your video does them more harm than good. It definitely sends out the wrong message for newcomers wanting to try the browser, especially when the browser isn’t doing any type of hacking what so ever. Just my opinion, dude.

@@tonge8568 Kiwi browser allows you to download Chrome extensions to your Android. So I can install Ublock Origin and Popup (strict).

vivaldi browser OP. arc just copied all Vivaldi features and gave the browser MacOs look. that ctrl+shift+a thing make me realise how much we common PC user are clueless about what goes under the hood. and that why learning linux becomes steep learning curve for some because windows provided a 5star hotel room level of comfort zone

Arc is good browser and easy to use , just wait as it has just arrived , when all features are on board do try them you will love :) .. The problem you told is annoying , I do face them , its just that its under developed. Good video btw 😁😁

Windows shortcut key is the most trash thing i ever seen. It just deactivates after reboot, and sometimes shortcuts only working on second or third press. I dont know why windows devs get their salary.

its a chromium browser like any browsers out there, nothing special about it. Even firefox can copy the vertical tabs design of arc by using an extension with customized css

Will probably replace Edge with Arc.... Until they release a Android version. Then it's going to be my only browser....it does everything better than other browsers....the only problem i have with Arc is that extensions are not easily accessible. Which is quite annoying really... overall... it's a well thought browser.

i tried Arc Browser for a short while, it's like relearning new browser compare traditional... honestly not really productive for me after been using traditional browser since IE first launch... so uninstall it after half an hour of trying..
