This is my 18th year with Infosys where I joined as a fresher in 2004. We did not have training at Mysore then. But I share similar views like yours, about Infy. It has been a bitter-sweet experience and I would not trade it against anything. Friends tease me that I will be here till retirement :) Time will say how that goes. But I must say you have made an excellent video that answers many of the what's and how's of Infy. All the best for your future.

Actually Astha ..i was also part of infy bpo (Pune)15 years back..wow..u helped me to travel into time girl 😃..i can't forget the days where we were taken to b'lore for 3 months trainings. My hometown is Pune. We were staying in Koramangala guest house ...it was simply amazing 👌👌.. the location, food was simply out of the world . I still remember , i was just having 20 rupees in my pocket and was waiting for the per diem allowance to get credited in my account 😃😃.. no smartphones, no gpay, no laptops, no what's app, no home loan (😃),no youtube ...life was simple but was very content.. today i am 39 , working as sr. BSA for a product based company. No money can buy me the pleasure or the days spent at infy .. i was with infy only for an year..but that 1 year of happiness is equivalent to rest years put together..god bless you!!

I am too an infocian...n I agree with ur all experience... specially salary hike...it's all good learning, development all good but infosys gives a comfort zone from where u can not come out....👍

Today during pandemic requirement is only crisp quality with experience away from quantity

IT is basically wasting life running behind money for imaginary life which actually you never live😂😂.. All these jobs are in tier 1 cities where you just earn to buy one flat. After 40 you are always under pressure due to job security. These companies earn lot and distribute that 💰 among management. They talk good on TV but actually they are like East India company where CEO earn equal to half of their employees.

How ironical I am just starting w my infy job as a complete fresher, but I got this video as a recommendation, it's kinda intimidating though....but anyways really thanks for sharing your journey!

We have a similar fountain in Bangalore campus too..I really miss having my evening chai with chocochip muffin, watching the fountain dance to the music. It was such an unwinding experience after a long day..miss that😔

One of the pathetic experience with INFY. Despite trying all possible way the pay is very less(consecutive outstanding rating for 3 years). And justification from managers is intolerable.

9:43 Here I beg to differ. The Indian based companies do not pay that well as they are focused on low cost service. If you join some international service companies, it can actually pay you substantially higher than companies like Infosys.

Even I was an Infocian, n the campus is great u will get each n every facility der starting from food to basic shopping. Also they hv friendly environment and with no work pressure, But if u fail in Mysore training they will send u back n may be u will be asked to resign so that's not good n evn if u seat on bench then they may give u different project which will destroy ur profile if u r experienced.
