What memories... I had an 88 Red Camaro IROC-Z... it was my Baby...with an awesome Pioneer system...listening to the tunes 80's and 90's music...what amazing times...in Toronto, Canada... sold it when I moved to Madrid, Spain ...miss it!!

Awesome car! I had an 88 Iroc after high school. Should have never got rid of it.

I just did the fuel pumps on my 87 and 91 firebirds. I suggest getting the best fuel pump you can. Dont cheap out on that part it's a job you only want to do once on a third gen fbody.

I believe they introduced VATS on the Camaro from 1986 throughout the fourth Gen in 2002. So 1985 was the only Year without it. Guessing it worked so Good on the C4 they stuck it on the Camaro to cut theft.

Hey Kyle, this Camaro seems to be an Iroc-Z, but is it..? I mean we all know that the Iroc-Z was the top model of the 3rd gen Camaro and that there are many non Iroc-Z Camaro's converted in to Iroc-Z look a like's. Reason for my suspicion: if this would have been an true Iroc-Z, the engine would have been a TPI engine, which it does not seem to be. And the rear lights look like they are non Iroc-Z as well, beause Iroc-Z tail lights come with black outlined boxes in the lenses, and the rear spoiler on the trunk seems to be missing as well. So basically it turned out to be a very nice car ! Why don't you do a Camaro 3rd Gen VIN check to find out more about the true identity of this car, because I really would like to know whether this is a true Iroc-Z, or not ;-)

Have you resolved the dispute over whether this is a genuine IROC per the VIN? Some of us were concerned this is actually a non-IROC with non-original cosmetic pieces.

Then after the exhaust, put a new convertible top and motor and put a pioneer Bluetooth stereo and speakers, then fix the brakes and get it safety inspected

I own a 92 Z28 TPI and I was just wondering where did you get the after market fuel tank from. I had to replace mind a few years ago and I had a problem getting it to fit because the filler neck is not the same angle as the stock one. And from what I have heard alot if not all the aftermarket fuel tanks have the same problem when it comes to the third gen camaro.

Where on earth did you find that oil, the only Valvoline high mileage synthetic blend oil I can find is in the red bottles.

Sounds like you may have a couple plug wires crossed. Perhaps it just needs new plugs and wires.

Not a fan o how the starter sounds in this. Sounds way to much like a Mopar cranking over. Also Mobil 1 is better oil.

I had a 91 Z28 Ventura lol just like that one and the big hit my payments and they repo that because it’s very strange by that paid every paving shut up. I got a lawyer they had already shoveled and I could do the survey live in Florida. If it was a late they had the right to repo your car show Florida Rick Fox state.
