As a barber I can say that a majority of gentlemen request a fade of some form. The overall style is still short. I solved my male pattern baldness a long time ago by shaving my head. I have been shaving daily for over 40 years

Great Video, especially the part about the terminology. What we guys lack in the closetdepartment we got in the hairstyle variations. Theres so many variants of every cut. What flabbergasts me the most is finding a good hairstylist/barber (WHICH IS A DIFFERENCE BTW!). Sadly mine had to close due to covid, and now its just buzzcut until too long, because every haircut ive gotten since then just looked terrible. If i ever find a good one again im gonna make SURE to make buddies with him. So shoutout to the skilled hair artists out there that dont treat me like cattle.

Great topic and great video. I'm in my late 50's and my barber is in his mid 20's. He's helped me with not only a great haircut, but find a younger style that not only I love, but my wife loves as well. Mullets are lazy.

shouldn't your hairstyle be based on the shape of your face?

Face shape, hair texture, lifestyle, and hair maintenance are in my opinion, the biggest factors when choosing a hairstyle.

Love these videos, Antonio. Great job. I'm not sure if you have done a video on hairstyles before, however, could you comment on the best haircuts for the type of hair one has? For example, thick vs. thin and straight vs. wavy vs. curly vs. kinky vs mix of curly and kinky/straight and wavy hair? I have curly hair with a receding hairline. I style it with a 0-guard mid fade and a combover.

Bro you need to check out the men's hair and fashion God Alex Costa. You can find everything you ever wanted to know. Dude's committed. Even launched his own line called Forte Series which is UH-MAY-zing. Speaking of YT influencers who specialize in men's hair and has his own line, check out Alpha M. Aaron has his own line too called Pete and Pedro. Those are the only 2 you need. Or just go straight to the Forte Series and Pete and Pedro sites bc both have online tutorials, etc

I was born with naturally straight, golden blonde hair. I just let it grow, and take care of it, no need to style anything beyond just brushing it. I get more compliments on my long hair then anything else lol. Women seem to love it, and I'm 35 having had this same hair style for 15+ years. I attribute this to the popularity of fantasy TV shows lol, where every man has long hair. I mean Henry Cavill's Geralt of Riviera drove women wild, so don't even try to tell me it's outdated!

One thing I've learned the hard way, don't go to the cheap cheap cookie cutter barber chains like "sports clips" or "great cuts". They literally don't know how to cut hair. Many times they like asking me things like which clipper blade to use or how to do something. I don't know that. They are the professional and are supposed to know that already. Now, I spend the extra $5 or so bucks and go elsewhere and get a much better hair cut.

My hair grows so quick like 🔥. After a week it's already looking not very sharp. I'd be wasting close to $120 on the cheap end for a decent or "professional" barber getting my hair cut every month. I just let it grow long, but not too long, tie it in a pony tail
