It's unclear what the sound was, or if there is any danger. Some photos of the event show former President Trump bleeding from the head area.

I’m assuming because he’s on a stage and since it’s assumed the shots were from a pistol he probably was at medium range on ground level meaning the shots would wiz behind him into the air if you know basic trajectory
