Ahhh that’s crazy. Because in case America doesn’t know. Russia controls 70% of the Arctic. They have military bases spread all around the Arctic. Russia has the largest ice breaker fleet. And Russia also conducts military exercises up in, yea you guessed it, the Arctic.

Russians have a history of fighting in the extreme cold, they're no strangers to the Arctic, they have specially trained commandos from Siberia even, America can't complete with them in this geography.

@@masterlightjames950 Not really, most of the time they are working with conventional warfare not other types of it, also the Taliban was different than other foes, it didn't matter how many you took out or killed there were always more people working with them in secret, in Vietnam they had a lot of outside aid but also there were many restrictions on what the US could do in Vietnam not allowing them to conduct any large offensives into the north due to political reasons. Somalia has been mostly dealt with and there are a lot less pirate attacks from Somalia now than a few years prior. I wouldn't call it a failure, mainly the politicians are the fault here.

For God's sake leave this area alone. Leave some part of the earth at peace. But if you want war so much don't talk and act - with the Russians it's going to be real war not war Afghanistan style. Your army will find out what real war is - for a change fight an army of equal strength but before you do please interview your volunteer soldiers who appeared with great fanfare in Ukraine and experiencing real war beat a hasty retreat.

The Army was great for me personally. I got 2 degrees paid for, lived overseas for 7 years and was able to pick-up 3 languages conversationally. After 12 years, I had experience managing over 100 people and was set-up nicely for a future career. And I had a lot of fun shooting machine guns and jumping out of planes!
